I had visited many times earlier. They appear to have used the shutdown time well. The room I was in (and I suppose most others) is remodeled Its very clean and comfortable . The breakfast buffet has moved to a larger hall and was excellent. The categories of rooms have changed so I am not sure of the comparison but basically everything seems a bit upgraded; cleaner, with more modern fixtures and functioning better. Particularly the climate control which was previously an issue in the front rooms with large windows apparently is working well now. As before the staff are friendly and helpful.
