Excellent location and good facilities. But the room was not big, I stayed in one room with king bed, I needed more space for my luggages. Also the staff made mistakes about price when I checked out, worked well in the end with no apology.

Good value for money. The room is spacious and the bed and linen is comfortable. Breakfast buffet covers a good range of choices. Concierge staff is courteous and efficient. Late check out at 2 pm can be arranged with no extra cost. Very happy with this stay. The only improvement needed is the toiletries. Shampoo-conditioner in one does not cut it.

WiFi didn’t work. For someone on a business trip, that was very disappointing. Food was mediocre. Staff barely spoke English, which was fine but they could at least smile instead of walking away.

I stay at the hotel regularly and it is always a fantastic experience. Rooms are nice, staff is friendly and food is great. I particularly like the central location with easy access to the metro. It is my go to hotel while in Shenzhen.

Gorgeous lobby, lift are attractive. A lot of foods in morning is also nice. Of course helpfully and kind staff are nice.

Hotel is beautifully. Staff exceptional. Food and dining were wonderful . Swimming pool excellent . Gym equipment little outdated . My room was a little noisy I could hear voices at night that was the only downside other than that an exceptional hotel

Special thanks to Sophia and Irene for upgrading my rooms 2 levels when they didn't have my booked room available (late checkout and cleaning were taking awhile). Overall good hotel in good location, but construction and decoration feel a bit dated. Room is not as luxurious or well-designed as other 5-star hotels of comparable price.

Nice hotel. Check in was a little slow. Despite the hotel being non smoking people obviously still smoke on the rooms. Not that unusual for China. About 20 mins from the HK ferry terminal.

Everything was great, except for the slowness and disorganization at the front desk for check in and check out. There is no one line, and processing seems very slow. I especially like the location and the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is great. The a-la-cart menu at the cafe needs more varieties.

Easy location
The q for the check-in/out is not designed the best. Oftentimes you have people behind you getting service first and it's quite frustrating. Other than that the hotel is in good condition and a very convenient location.

Welcome was quite cold at the reception and the receptionist could not speak any good English. Room size was pretty big but feel a bit old fashion. We booked an executive room so we could get access to the executive lounge. The room is nice and big. They are very little choice and feel below average. Breakfast was quite disappointed too. We ordered egg Benedict with salmon and this was the worst we never had. The chef did not know how to cook it and went to get the small piece of salmon on the buffet. The other breakfast buffet was not great. I went a few weeks before at the Marriott hotel next to it and the standard and food is much nicer.

Not worth the price paid!
Size of room and quality of bed and pillows do not befit five-star standard. The service standard of the staff at Concierge desk is terrible, especially of this particular staff named Cindy. Her rude and dishonest attitude reflects badly on this five-star hotel.

The hotel looks nice and is closer to the downtown; however, the staffs do not want to help people. They tell you a lot of services but they don't tell you that those are charged.

Throwback to 1990s China
This hotel is overwrought and undermanned. The decor is over the top gold and marble everywhere. Ceilings are low. Rooms are serviceable but cramped. The staff must be hired from the penal system bureaucracy. Not worthy of the Kempinsky name.

This is my third stay at the hotel and as always, it’s a winner. Great location, staff is awesome and amenities are amazing. Wouldn’t consider to stay elsewhere when in Shenzhen. If you want to be spoiled than the Kempinski Hotel is your destination
