We stayed at the Loyalist inn for one night. The facility is conveniently located in downtown Shelburne and is a short walk away from the waterfront . Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Rooms were clean and the room was laid out nicely. There needs someone to add bulbs to some of the light fixtures but the bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was perfectly located. Ext to restaurants.
Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff members were helpful and friendly. We arrived after hours with a self check-in. The snacks and bottled water in our room were a nice touch. Our room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for others. Pastries and coffee for purchase at the onsite restaurant were delicious.
For an older building the inn is beautiful. The room we were in was very clean and comfortable vibrant. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone.
Lovely location. Uncanny to arrive at a dark hotel to check in and nobody was there. Tried to check in online but did not succeed. Fortunately I was able to check in over the phone, and got great service from then on, including shifting to ground floor from third (no elevator). Spotlessly clean.

The room was clean. Very comfortable bed. However the walls are paper thin. Did not sleep well as a ucalaly thing going on all stayed in the hotel with no regards to anyone else played till nearly 11 45 at night was a free concert I didn't want to be a part of. Loud was a understatement. Bring earplugs if you pliin staying there. The location is the best. Walking distance to shops and waterfront.

It's a fine place, and the people---via the phone, were very nice, but because they're committed to no personal interaction, it's frankly confusing. It's like a seaman's club, really---but when I did interact with them, via the phone, they were VERY nice. overall, a cool place. And the coffee car out in the parking lot was brilliant.
I don't like Expedia's pre-packaged questions used to drive the stars rating system. The staff, when there were nice and helpful within the parameters of their roles and authority.
The building is very old and shabby. It is a permanent small that the housekeeper can do nothing about. It is extremely noisy with traffic running right under the windows.
This is a really nice "old fashioned" hotel with remodeled rooms. Decor was very nice, bed was comfortable, and TV was huge. It still seems to be a work in progress, though, with a DYI feel to some of the maintenance. For instance, huge microwave is on a very wobbly shelf that seems sure to fail at one point. No place to put soap of washcloth in shower expect floor - and no grab bar to hold onto when bending down to get them. No elevator, either, so be prepared to carry everything up one or two flights of stairs. No closet or clothes hook in room, so toss your clothes on the chair or floor or keep them in your suitcase. But A+ for atmosphere, and I hope they work out the few small glitches. Also conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
Easy walk to waterfront, artisans, museums, restaurants. Welcoming staff/owners!

Very pleased with this accommodation. We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment , that was large and fully equipped with all the necessities and more. It is perfectly located to allow you to walk to restaurants and down to the historic waterfront.
We were there for only 1 night but weren’t disappointed with our stay! The room was very small but cleab and we had everything we needed for our stay! Would definitely recommend for short stay. Big plus the village is cute and good restaurant!
Very easy, unattended check in. Lots of history in building but updated nicely. Snacks and water in room is a nice touch. Walked to dinner and harbor. So quaint and peaceful.
