"I stayed at the Bendigo Quest (not to be confused with Bendigo Central Quest) for a couple of nights when in town for work. I chose it as I wanted to try a different experience to some of the other, more dated places I have stayed in Bendigo. Upon arriving, I found that the carpark was easy to navigate and not too tight, which is always a plus for me. Check-in was easy, with the staff member who served me being helpful and pleasant. The motel looks to be split by building, with four rooms per building - two downstairs and two upstairs. It is all stair access to the upstairs rooms, so be aware of that when booking. Security card access to both the building entrance door and one's room, which was a nice feature. The room itself was incredibly spacious, bright, with lots of windows, and nice looking. I had a one-bedroom apartment, and had a couch, a dining table and a desk. Plus a decent sized kitchen and a proper fridge. I like to self-cater a bit when I travel, so this is always a plus for me. The bedroom was spacious enough, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was standard, with good water pressure and temp' control, and decent towels. Overall, the plusses were plentiful, and this is a great choice for a motel. There are a few concerns though. Firstly, the walls were quite heavily marked, and I don't feel like they had been properly wiped in some time. "It was great to stay at an Historic Hotel one which I know a lot about. My parents used to bring me as a child regularly to Bendigo from Melbourne and see that hotel still standing is wonderful. Everything was great and I would stay there again. Only issue is that they have charged me for accommodation? which I had already paid for through Expedia, I have taken the matter up with the hotel"
