The room was fine. But the party right next door until late at night and the staff talking in the hallway early truly ruined the stay. The noise from the party was awful. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room needs plates and cutlery for people eating in their room. It’s an old run down historical hotel but that gives it some charm too. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet this isn’t the place.

We wanted to stay at the Shamrock because of its vicinity to the theater we were attending and because of the history of the building. The room itself was small and reasonably clean. The bathroom was renovated and reasonably clean. The staff at the gaming room were reasonably nice, though the staff at reception was much nicer the second day when we were locked out of our room. All in all a pleasant stay.

The Shamrock hotel is always a lovely piece of history to visit. Great location and everything you need right on the premises. The rooms are large and the bathrooms renovated. I love it's old world charm and comfy bed.
