"We have stayed here many times over the years, mainly for hiking in summer/autumn. I don't know if they have new owners or what, but the amenities have changed. First of all, after we booked the room, which was $300, we got a message from the hotel with, SURPRISE!! If you want to park your car, it's an extra $30 per car plus tax, or else you can walk uphill half a mile to the free parking lot. The room has ZERO instructions on how to get on the wifi, TV channels, how late the pool is open, how late the only on-site restaurant is open, where other restauurants are located, etc. You are just supposed to figure it out for yourself because the front desk is understaffed and no one answers the phone. They even eliminated the vending machines, so if you want a snack or a juice, you have to pay $9 per drink and go to the front desk or the overpriced restaurant. Price, the doorman, was very helpful, as was the sole person at the front desk. Both of them are wonderful employees who did a great job. Maybe invest some more $ in staffing and a simple welcome book for guests instead of just raking in money."

"You can’t beat the location of this hotel. The breakfast comes with it is fantastic. The problems I had were they charge you $50 for a third person in the two bedroom room and that increases the cost with taxes near $400 and for $400 I would like to see a room without popcorn ceiling, a swimming pool with a light attached instead of it floating. Making it scary to swim. The staff is great . Loved the free hot chocolate."
