"This was absolutely the best Motel 6 we have ever visited. The staff went out of their way to make sure all was well. They have a nice yard area with picnic tables and a grill - great for walking a dog. And the blackberries on the property were ripe and delicious."

"Our room was a suite (with balcony), and it was the nicest suite I have ever stayed at besides Toledo (Spain) and the most prestigious hotel suite in San Francisco, CA. It was 2.5 blocks easy walk to the Harbor and the Empress where we had high tea reservations. The staff (immigrants from Philippines and Wales) were highly professional, helpful, efficient, and wonderful! The large kitchen was fully equipped, including a washer and dryer (summer amazing), and I was most impressed with the recycling bin with 4 types of recycling options. Hotel also had the first composting bin I have ever seen, which we happily used… Most impressive and environmentally friendly! Only negative was the traffic noise from idiots with loud mufflers: closing windows eliminated the noise. Loved all the window blinds that kept room dark so I could sleep in, after a long days travel. In sum, this was one of the best suites I have ever stayed at. Very highly recommended! "

"Just to be aware, as with the case of any big city, unfortunately there were homeless people sleeping in the street nearby and walking around during the day. The hotel had ample security and we felt safe for the short time we stayed."
