"We've stayed at Beech a ton of times and this was by far the most updated and cleanest place we've been in. Typically if it's pet friendly you can see or detect dog hair, but that was not the case. My husband even asked if I was sure that it was. Ha! My teens loved the basement set up and the fire pit/hot tub and my dog loved the side yard! The owners were super responsive and there to help with any small issues that came up!! Highly recommend!"

"Clean and cozy. A great place to escape. The view was beautiful. We brought our dogs and they did well. There’s not a big “yard” for pets but it’s enough, especially if you walk them. We were hoping to let them swim but the shore was too steep and we weren’t sure we’d be able to get them back on the dock if they jumped in from there. It is also spring and still pretty cold or we would have gone in with them and just pushed them out. There’s a fantastic, magnetic screen so you do not need to worry about dogs going through it. The deck is fully enclosed, to keep them or smaller kids safely enclosed. Karen was great and quick to respond to messages. The chalet is in a location, close to VA and NC, so there’s a lot to see and do if you are willing to drive a bit."
