  • With panoramic views of the South Holston River and the surrounding Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains, Osprey Cabin offers a peaceful, elevated retreat for those seeking exceptional cabins on the South Holston River. This contemporary two-bedroom, two-bath cabin is designed for both comfort and connection to nature. (Max 4 guests)

    Entry Level: Master bedroom includes a Queen-size bed with a private bathroom. 2nd bedroom includes a Queen-size bed and a twin XL Murphy bed. 2nd full bathroom is in common area with stackable washer & dryer.  Loft / sitting area includes another twin XL Murphy bed.

    Downstairs includes a well appointed kitchen, dining and living areas.  Step outside to the covered deck and relax beside the outdoor fireplace as you take in the beauty of the river valley below. Inside, the cabin includes a Smart TV with complimentary Hulu + Live TV, offering modern entertainment after a day outdoors.

    Please note: due to its sloped setting, Osprey may not be suitable for young children or guests with limited mobility.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This is our second booking at the Osprey. Never disappoints!! Very clean and well maintained. The views are breathtaking. Highly recommend this cabin or any of the others at Tailwaters Lodge.

This is a well equipped, beautifully constructed cabin overlooking the Holston River and mountains. Easy walking access to the Holston. Would highly recommend.

Loved our stay

We absolutely loved this trip. The Osprey at Tailwaters Lodge was perfect! It had beautiful views, very clean, and everything you need. Even simple essentials for the kitchen. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace every evening and there was plenty of wood. The owners are super nice and check in is smooth. I’m sure we will be back!

I loved the cabin! I enjoyed the trails along the river and dam and watching the fly fishermen. It was a quiet, peaceful, relaxing vacation. It was nice that it was close to a restaurant and a Dollar General, so you don't have to go into Bristol. Bruce and Paula were very nice and helpful! I would definitely go back.
