The Good: The view from the balcony is exceptional and the prices very reasonable. It is located right next to where the ferry drops you off hence not to much walking while loaded with your suitcases. The beds are comfortable and the room in generally clean. The not so good: The bathrooms are extremely small and in bad shape. Takes a bit of effort to adjust the water temperature while taking a shower. Leaky sink and flushing tank. Moisture and peeling on the ceiling. NONE OF WHICH was enough for me to choose not to go back. I can personally deal with that even if I don't like it. The Bad: While the owner is a pleasant person to work with in general...this is true only when there is no misunderstanding of any sort. The professionalism level decreases to non existent once there is a problem. No apologies, no attempts to rectify the situation, and to my biggest surprise not even the slightest attempt to diffuse the tension. Contrary to that, she will "fight" to the end...to the point that You as a customer will give up. The bottom line: If you don't get in an argument or there is no misunderstanding with your booking and if you manage to contact them before you get there, your stay could be enjoyable and at a reasonable price. Sämre standard. Sifis hotell har ett otroligt läge vid kanten av byn Loutro. Hotellet har en fin lounge vid vattnet där det serveras frukost, lunch och middag. Hotellrummen är mer eller mindre förfallna. Dåliga, obekväma sängar, icke-fungerande air-condition och ett mycket högljutt sorl från serveringen fram till 01:00\. Servicen är dock felfri. Otroligt härlig personal och hotellägare. De hjällper dig med allt! Letar du efter sol och bad är Loutro fel. Stränderna är sådär. Är du på vandringssemester och vill äta god mat med härlig utsikt är Loutro fantastiskt. Fint familidrevet hotell for folk som liker å ha det stille og rolig. Bare noen minutters gange til den mere travle delen av Agi Marina, med butikker, restauranter og strender. Jeg kan ikke få lovprist Loutro og Sifis Hotell nok. Jeg hadde bestilt fire netter på hotellet, og ble møtt av Christina, hotellets vertinne, ved ankomst. Hun tok imot meg som en venn selv om det er to år siden jeg var der sist. Hotellet ligger vakkert til i havnen i Loutro. Hit kommer ingen biler. Man må gå eller ta båt. Derfor er atmosfæren så rolig. Rommene er relativt enkle, men det er jo alle rom jeg har bodd på på sørkysten av Kreta. Alle rom har havsutsikt. Frokost serveres på bryggekanten rett utenfor hotellet. Her er det også fint å få noe kaldt å drikke på ettermiddagen.
