We were in Seward for a wedding so the house was perfect! Beautiful place, loved the wet room, comfy beds and sauna. Even enjoyed the pellet stove one evening. Coffee and hot sauce were such a nice local touch! Would have liked to have a microwave as it’s just convenient for leftovers! I think better quality towels also is an opportunity given the price and higher end quality of everything else. Lovely spot and home!

Great location, well equipped and very clean. Highly recommend it for a great vacation.
The Salted Roots cabin was absolutely stunning. We spent three wonderful nights there and wished we were able to stay longer! It’s a very quick 10 min drive from the town of seward and there are a couple of fun hiking trails walking distance from the cabin. They have everything you need from cookware to fun board games if your having a night in. Their hospitality was amazing and will forsure book with them again next time we’re in Seward.
The Salted Roots does not disappoint! It is cool/hip and tastefully designed. There were six of us and the place is much better suited for 4 guests. A few more plates, glasses, and silverware would be helpful for parties greater than 4. That said, we had a great time. It was fun to unwind in such unique surroundings. The shower and appliances were high end and a treat!

What a gorgeous property! We really loved all the special touches, including AK-made products as gifts and available for sale. We did have an issue with the WiFi which was challenging and took several comms to resolve. Otherwise, highly recommend!!!
One of the best places our family has stayed at. We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with basic items including some spices and oil. Location was close to hiking trails, the town, and the ocean. Only thing I can say negative about this place is it could use some sort of blinds. It was truly a great place to stay.
Thank you
We had a wonderful time! We happened to be the very first guests in the brand new Red Door cabin. The place was well set-up and well-thought out, very clean, with modern design mindful of the environment. Delicious coffee and hot sauce made in AK provided by the owners were definitely a plus as well! The owners are responsive and very accommodating. You will absolutely enjoy staying at this cabin! The fact that it is across the road from the ocean with an incredible view of the bay and the mountains will make your stay truly unforgettable.
The A-frame cottage is fantastic. Beautiful, sparkling clean and with everything you may need during your stay. It is modern and cozy. By far the best place we stayed during our 2 week vacation in Alaska. The beach just across the road in front of it is beautiful and they have some chairs there so you can enjoy the view. They now have 2 more cottages in the property in front (but not obstructing view) of the A-frame ones that you cannot see on the pictures, but they don’t interfere with the experience at all. Will definitely be back if visiting Alaska again!
Such an amazing property, views, access to beach front, cozy perfect getaway cabin. We will definitely be back. I am so grateful to hosts for creating such a spot. The interior design/decoration is so well done, modern, and lovely. I didn't want to leave. Great memories were made, laughs and meals were shared, the antique kaleidoscope brought me back to my childhood. All screens/technology was left behind. I truly did not want to leave. I wanted to live in that cabin in the woods forever.
