Located right in town, MountainView Getaway has amazing views and even better access. As our guest, we\`re here to help you explore Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park, offering discounts on many tours in the area! There are a total of 4 bedrooms upstairs (3 queens and 1 twin) including the master bedroom with attached ¾ bath and an additional shared full bath. Downstairs you will find the 5th bedroom (king), a second TV area equipped with a full sofa sleeper, half bath\*\*, and the laundry room. This home is surrounded by many mature spruce trees that offer additional privacy when relaxing outside on the patio or around the fire pit. The upper level has a large living and dining area with a full kitchen. This is an entire home rental, so all spaces are accessible for guests except for the garage. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Alice, Mt. Marathon, and Resurrection Bay from this large home nestled between the harbor and downtown Seward. The central location allows for convenient access to restaurants, shopping, the waterfront, SeaLife Center and hiking trails which are all within walking distance. This home is surrounded by many mature spruce trees that offer additional privacy when relaxing outside on the patio or around the fire pit. The home has a driveway where multiple cars can park or free street parking as well. The home is within walkable distance of downtown Seward or the Seward Boat Harbor. We do encourage guests to refrain from cooking fish inside the home. An outdoor grill is available for cooking of your local catch instead. We do not allow processing of fish on property. Highly Recommend If you need to book a House in Seward look no further!! Absolutely loved this property. Originally booked for 8 people. A family emergency came up and 4 family members could not join us and property managers offered what they could with the change. Very thoughtful and considerate hosts. House was super clean and comfortable! 2 amazing bathrooms, one with good natural light and a window to open. Amazing views out of windows! Nice roomy backyard with a fire pit. Nice big TV that can swivel to watch from kitchen table or living room. Beds are super comfy with super soft sheets. Ceiling fans and extra fans were a huge plus. House rules very reasonable and clean up rules also very doable! One showered is pretty small but was usable for myself. Other showered is huge and beautifully finished. Great location in town. Nice roomy driveway for vehicles. Can't say enough about the place. We really loved it! ##### Tracy M. The property was clean and in a great location. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. The kitchen was well appointed with all the necessities. Our issues were with the stairs and seating. Access to the house is up several stairs. This would not be a problem except there were no handrails. When you first enter the house there is a small landing with stairs going both up and down. Again, there were no handrails. The stairs were not carpeted, but had small stair pads on each step. These were not secured to the floor at all and moved as you stepped on them. It was rather precarious going up and down. If a guest is mobility challenged, this is not the house for you. The furniture in the living room was all VERY low. It appears that the legs have been removed on the sofa and loveseat. It made getting up from those places very difficult for everyone in our group of 60+ year olds. The master bathroom shower was difficult at best. It was the size of a small cruise ship shower and difficult to use without getting water on the floor. This is a great property for folks with no mobility issues, although it was not ideal for our group. ##### Jenifer H.
