Guests enjoy private access to the entire cabin and its outdoor spaces, including the hot tub, gazebo, and pondside areas.

**Gated Community Registration**



Shagbark requires guest vehicle registration before arrival. Following your reservation, we'll request the necessary driver and contact information to register your vehicle with security.



Once registered, you'll receive a barcode via email and text to scan at the community entrance.



Please note that cell service can be extremely limited throughout the mountains. We recommend downloading your driving directions and saving your access information before traveling.



⭐ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR STAY



🪜 **Stairs & Loft Access**



Willow Waters is situated along a naturally sloped mountain landscape, with steep stairs leading to the entrance. The loft is also accessed by a very steep ladder-style staircase.



Please use caution when navigating these areas. The property may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations or young children.



🚙 **Mountain Roads & Winter Weather**



Shagbark features winding mountain roads and changing elevations. During winter conditions, snow and ice may make four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive necessary.



🐻 **Wildlife & Trash**



Black bears and other wildlife are common throughout the Smoky Mountains. Please never approach or feed wildlife, and do not leave food or garbage unattended outdoors.



All trash must be placed in the designated locked, bear-resistant trash containers located down by the road.



🚭 **Property Guidelines**



Willow Waters is a smoke-free and pet-free property. Parties and events are not permitted.



The primary renter must be at least 21 years old



🛁 **Waterfront & Hot Tub Safety**



The pond and outdoor hot tub are not enclosed by protective fencing. Guests should exercise caution around the water and follow all posted safety guidelines.

Being surrounded by nature is part of the charm of Willow Waters. Occasional insects and wildlife sightings are a natural part of the Smoky Mountain experience.
