Situated on 1.8 acres of gorgeous Smoky Mountain seclusion and quiet, yet the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville attractions are all easily reached from Trollhaugen. The living area on the main level features a stone gas fireplace made of river rock, surrounded with a comfortable sofa, swivel reclining chair, and hassock, arranged around a unique stone coffee table. The fully equipped kitchen also has an enclosed washer and dryer. The adjacent dining area has an expandable dining table with eight chairs. Two wrought-iron dining tables with umbrellas, rocking chairs, two chaise lounges, and a gas grill sit on the wrap-around deck reached though a pair of sliding doors on this level—providing a wonderful place to dine outside or just to enjoy the great view. The bedroom on this level has a queen bed, a LCD TV with DirecTV Genie 2 HD and DVR, and a full bath. The loft has a pleasant sitting area with a computer desk, Humanscale task chair, swivel reclining chair, ottoman, and windows with great views in all four directions. We were able to rebook for the same amount of days a couple months after. The cabin was everything we hoped for. It was peaceful and private. It was my husband, son and my mother. We each had our own space and our own bathroom. I saw reviews about the stairs being narrow and might be hard to navigate, pictures showed the stairs and they were a little tricky for my mom who has balancing issues and arthritis. She stayed on the main floor but was able to navigate the stairs. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware. We truly enjoyed our stay it was beautiful. There were paperbacks available to read in all the rooms, as well as board and card games downstairs. Those touches made a difference as we had family game nights which was a nice way to unplug and just be. Would definitely recommend. ##### Leslie H. Mountain views are spectacular and the cabin is well furnished. We played games, enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace, and went to Gatlinburg sky bridge, Dollywood, The Island and the Apple Barn. It was a great place to unwind and laugh with the family. We used the hot tub and pool table frequently! It wasn’t to far to the attractions we wanted to go to. The pool table, the hot tub, and all of the fun board games gave us a great opportunity to spend some quality time with our children while we enjoyed the beautiful Smoky Mountains. The view from the balcony is quite stunning, especially during sunset. The only word of advice would be to bring your own plastic cups, bowls, and plates if you have young kids. We really enjoyed being surrounded by the woods. The neighbor was very friendly. For being a small kitchen it had everything you could imagine to cook. You don’t have to bring a thing. LeConte and easy access to Sevierville and Gatlinburg. The yard was nice and not something that is common in the mountains. Stayed in this cabin with our family and it was wonderful. Great setting, beautiful drive to the cabin and loved the amenities. The hot tub was wonderful as we were there in Dec/Jan. I would only reccomend more towels for 8 people, 2 bathrooms and a hot tub. We woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland on our last day - 8 inches of snow! It made for an amazing snowy mountain view. The hot tub was amazing! It had very strong jets, and was very clean. The layout of the cabin was great for people who want to spend time together, but also wanted time alone. I've never seen such detailed notes on everything in the house from the toaster, down to the remotes for the TVs. The pool table was amazing, and the light switches were even labeled to help you know what switch goes to what light. Beautiful property. We will definitely be back! ##### Alisha L.
