The house was in a quiet neighborhood. It is a bit away from downtown Pigeon Forge but we liked the quiet. The house was well equipped and the porch was very nice for sitting and relaxing in the morning. We did not use the fire pit but it was a nice touch. This was a perfect cabin for our family Thanksgiving getaway. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed to make and serve a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. There was enough room for the 7 family members to each have their own beds / space and yet we could all be together for meals and games. We a lot of fun with the old school arcade games, pool table, and board games. And the hot tub was an extra bonus after long days of hiking:) ##### Ketti P. What a great memory we made with family! We met my Parent's from Florida, Brother from Indiana and the rest of us from MI. We not only enjoy the beautiful cabin but playing games, cards, coffee and wine on the wrap around deck but the cozy fire in the living room! The cabin was clean and the location excellent as well. Only one small thing is the loft upstairs had no tv. That’s the only smalll thing that’s needs changed! The owner was very communicative and even sent a handyman over when we messaged him at night about the fireplace so that we could enjoy it even when we said we didn’t mind but just wanted them to be aware. We thought that was so above and beyond. Everything is beautiful and clean and you could spend your entire time in the cabin and 100% enjoy your time and never be bored. ##### Alyssa P. If you want something with lots of space, proximity to attractions but the peace of nature - this is the spot! Check in was a breeze, place was lovely… loads of room, all the amenities you need and lovely homely feel. We were there in spring so didn't make great use of the hot-tub. Lots of nature around, great fire pit area, super easy drive… just ticks all the boxes. We had a small group but this place has ample space for multiple families. Not totally remote as near a great road, and other cabins but enough that you are enjoying the gorgeous Tennessee forest. Hosts were excellent. The house is exactly as listed and can comfortably accommodate 10 people in the bedrooms. Our multi-generational family (ages 2-70) enjoyed the game room, the comfy living area, the hot tub, the comfortable rockers on the porch, and the nearby fire pit. The location is very convenient with no steep hills to navigate, yet we had plenty of privacy in the woods. The house across the driveway was unoccupied, which made it even more private. The house was very clean and the beds were adequate. Check in was simple and owners were very quick to respond to a chirping security alarm. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basics. I can’t say amazing enough. At times we didn’t even want or need to leave the cabin for local attractions because the cabin had so much available for us to do. Hot tub, games, fire pit and we even had a hill that we used to workout and run hills we had an amazing time. We went right to the cabin put in the code so no check in required. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. Amazing just amazing. Thank our host for making our vacation amazing. ##### Leslie W. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation. The basis for the vacation was to celebrate my graduation and I invited a small group of friends. Everyone LOVED this cabin! We all loved all the amenities, loved our rooms, LOVED the hot tub and fire pit and were all in agreeance at the end of the trip that this was a great place to stay. The rest of this review details the why of our ratings so it might seem a little disjointed and will probably be long. Take this first paragraph plus the final one as a TL;DR if you wish. We did have some issues with cleanliness, mostly in the kitchen in the fridge, microwave, and oven. Apparently, the hot tub was pretty disgusting in the day time, didn't really stop people from using it at night, though. One friend found some medical trash under his bed when we were packing up, but other than that, the cabin was pretty clean. I think, if anything, this is a cleaning crew issue, not the hosts'. When I mentioned these issues to the hosts, they were so wonderful about it and I feel very strongly that this was a fluke and it won't happen again so don't let that part of my review scare you. Also speaking of the hosts, they were GREAT about communication, before, during, and after the vacation and we are highly appreciative of the care they put towards renting out their cabin. Driving to the cabin is a little stressful if you're not used to twisty roads as the last 3.5 miles to the cabin (coming in from pigeon forge) is exactly that, we tried to avoid getting back to the cabin after dark because of this. Also, we weren't super close to actual town, very much so in the wilderness (which is exactly what I want from a cabin) so if you're trying to be in the middle of all that Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville has to offer, this isn't the place for you. Also not the place for you if you want to be close to hiking trails as we were a good 30 minutes from most trails. We didn't have any problems driving from our cabin to the edge of Gatlinburg and back, though, this part of Tennessee is so pretty even with all the tourist traps, you won't get bored on a drive. We really did love this cabin and had a great time here, but the cleanliness was just enough of an issue that we couldn't give this place a full 5 stars. I do fully believe though that that was a one time issue and anyone else who rents this place will have a wonderful vacation and fall in love with this cabin just like we have. ##### Ashley M.
