Splendid Isolation is the perfect getaway for couples! Nestled in a wooded area tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet just 10 minutes to the heart of Pigeon Forge and a short 25 minute Drive to Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. A fantastic place to relax in the hot tub, take a long bath in the large jetted whirlpool tub or just sit on the porch in a rocking chair and let the natural beauty of the surroundings and the fresh mountain air take you away. There is a picnic area with Horseshoes and a Fire Pit next to the woods and a Gas grill on the back deck. Inside this newly Updated cabin you'll find a 50" 4K UHD TV, connected to WiFi with Netflix and other apps in both the living area and a 40" Smart TV in the bedroom bedroom, high speed wireless internet, a newly remodeled and well equipped Kitchen including a Keurig Duo (bring your favorite coffee or K-Cup Flavors), a beautiful new Tile Shower in the bathroom and a wood burning fireplace for use in the cooler season. Large Flat parking area to accommodate just about anything you want to drive including Motorcycles and just a few easy steps to the front door! Come to the mountains and enjoy some SPLENDID ISOLATION! Guest access You get the entire cabin to yourself! Propane grill on the Back porch Other things to note Towels and linens provided. Soaps, 2-1 Shampoo/Conditioner and even toothbrushes available just in case you forget something. Individual booking must be at least 23 years of age and present for the duration of the stay. Message us for possible exceptions. The hot tub is for guests 23 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! As with all cabins in the area the fireplace is shut down April 1 - October 1. We do not offer late check-out or early check-in typically. If by chance we can accommodate, there will be a $50 charge per. Condiments, zip locks and coffee are NOT provided Please message us before booking more than 2 people! Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged $175 and asked to leave. Absolutely no unauthorized fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $250 plus damages. Use caution and safety. You will be accountable for any damage. We do not provide Firewood but it can be purchased many places around town including most grocery and convenience stores as well as several roadside stands throughout the area. We have no control over the weather or the potential issues that can arise due to acts of god or nature. Refunds will not be available beyond normal cancelation policies due to issues outside our control. I feel like the owners tried to make this an exceptional place to stay with all the upgrades: the appliances, linens, cookware, TV's, all very nice quality. The kitchen is well equipped, especially with all the different big utensils, and a nice spatula for the grill which worked great and was clean. The fireplace is beautiful and I liked how the bathroom light turned on automatically when you got near it, very nice when getting up in the middle of the night. We had everything we needed and were very happy and comfortable. We stayed for six nights so we did notice a few things towards the end of the stay that pertained to the cleanliness, and a couple other minor issues but it didn't mess up our overall stay. I would bring your own toilet paper, and if you want to use the fire pit you should bring or buy your own wood, I wasn't sure so we just brought a truck load with us. I was worried about the steepness of the road, which it was somewhat, but after the 2nd time up it was ok, I'm from flat FL so any incline is scary to us 😆 Overall the cabin was very cozy, enough for 2 people but very roomy, the lighting everywhere was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and I would highly recommend this rental, I would definitely stay here again. Very comfy king bed! And a nice shower with good water pressure! Minimal supplies, but the listing clearly states this, so it was no surprise. The outdoor areas weren't really maintained as well as they look in the photos, so it didn't feel inviting for us to hang out outside. I feel this is a missed opportunity for the property owner. But if you aren’t looking for that element, then I recommend this little cabin for a nice getaway for a couple or an individual looking to get away. ##### Julie K. The place was quiet and we enjoyed our time together. The owner was easily contacted and even send out person to release the hot tub. My wife and I were looking for a cozy cabin for some quiet time before heading home. This cabin was perfect! The owner responded quickly when I contacted him about the grill not working. It was replaced within hours! The hot tub was amazing! We enjoyed the location which was conveniently located a short distance from Pigeon Forge but staying in was equally nice in this quaint little cabin. We even enjoyed the large TV!
