RVs and trailers will not be able to turn around and should not be brought to this property. Your GPS will bring you to this cabin and will help you navigate to the local attractions. Cell phone signal in the mountains is often very spotty. It is recommended that you download your maps/directions prior to your trip. \*\*The paved driveway leading to Grillin Bear Lodge is very steep in places and approximately 2/10th of a mile long. Icy conditions can make it impassable. \*\*Travel insurance is recommended. Please Follow the below additional rules 1\. Guest booking reservation must be 21+ years of age. 2\. Guest acknowledges and understands that he/she is financially responsible for any and all property damage that may occur during the stated rental period which can reasonably be attributed to the rental party's negligence or abuse. 3\. Do not stand on hot tub cover. Hot tub cover is for insulation purposes and is not designated to support a person or persons. It will break and you may be charged for replacement. You are likely to encounter wildlife (deer, bears, racoons, snakes, birds and bugs of various types, including wasps, bees and/or hornets, etc). We ask that if you do see wildlife, please admire these creatures from a safe distance and please DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE. We want to preserve the wildlife in its natural state and try not to humanize the animals for their safety as well as yours. 7\. If inclement weather is a concern, buy trip insurance. No refunds will be given. 8\. There is absolutely no smoking inside of the cabin. There are (2) cameras on the front of the cabin for your protection as well as (1) on the side. 10\. This was the perfect place to bring together lifelong friends for a long weekend retreat. The cabin was beautiful with many great amenities and we enjoyed them all! The cabin was the absolute best! It had plenty of room for all 13 of us to enjoy ourselves. Everyone's favorite spot was the covered porch with the rocking chairs. Beds are comfy, game room is fun and the kitchen is large and WELL equipped. I can not think of one thing that this house is missing. The host, Jeremy, was very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was good. The cabin was very well stocked and functional for family breakfast and dinners. A variety of outdoor seating areas and the wrap around porch was prefect to take in the scenery while having morning coffee. Our entire family enjoyed evenings in the game room. The theatre seating is very comfortable. The dining room windows provided the perfect spot for viewing a momma bear and her 3 cubs that came walking out of the woods one morning!! We were very pleased with the cabin and the location…. There was plenty of room for everybody and it was very comfortable. We had a problem with the hot tub but someone came out the next day and fixed it. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. Love the face that there were smart TVs in every room. Makes a “loaf” weekend much more enjoyable. Our group had a blast, we played games, watched movies, read books and cooked a lot of food. we stayed in most of our time and relaxed with family and nature. we actually got to see a mama bear and her baby cubs while we there. we got many animal visitors, the owner of the property was very nice and helpful, we had a storm come thru and down some trees where we couldn't get some of us back in, and he had sent someone to come take care of it and help us get them moved so our pregnant daughter didn't have to walk. The home is fully stocked so you don't have to pack many of the necessities. it rained almost every day so we did not get to use the pool. we will definitely look to stay here again. even if its just the two of us. ##### AMBER H. Each bedroom was large enough and bathroom accommodating enough for a family to stay in comfortably. The kids loved the game room and movie theater. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, more so than any other place we've ever stayed. Jeremy was very responsive to any issues we had and helped with everything we needed. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here. Close to attractions, but secluded and not crowded or busy. Loved visiting the food truck park in town for lunches and also chilling in the hot tub on the deck overlooking the beautiful scenery. Giant table and dining room were perfect for our game nights. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because we had an issue with the water running out at the house after a large group had been there before us, but Jeremy was amazing at getting it taken care if in a timely manner. This cabin is the epitome of a family getaway in the Smokies! There is literally everything you will need! There were 15 family members that stayed for 3 nights and plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a hit with the grand kids and the chairs on the back porch was a favorite for the older people. Plenty of space in a well-equipped kitchen so no need to bring anything but your food and the fun! The bedrooms were so spacious and most had their very own private balconies overlooking the beautiful view! We enjoyed so MUCH food, arcade games, board games and rented a movie on the last night where every single family member sat in the 18-seat theatre room and enjoyed, popcorn, candy and all! On Easter Sunday we dressed up for family photos and was able to find some beautiful spots close by for our photo backdrops! After an easter egg hunt for the younger ones we enjoyed a most delicious Easter meal. A great time was had by all and the last day we were all sad to leave and go our separate ways. Has all the amenities you could think of, from a pool table to a movie theater, and even a air hockey table. No matter what time of year, you'll absolutely enjoy the two large master bedrooms that have Jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub on these cool cozy fall mornings. The place had anything and everything you could think of when it came to the kitchen. But best of all, excellent service from the host. We loved the hot tub, game room, and especially the theater that seats like 18 people. The kids keep talking about the (sturdy) queen bunk beds, and the adults taking in the sunset on the wraparound deck. It was beautiful and spacious with lots for everyone to do. We especially enjoyed the theater room. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for “cooking up” large family meals. We had a great stay! With the hot tub, movie theatre, bonfire pit, front porch rocking chairs, game room upstairs, we really had no reason to leave the cabin! I loved the layout and how it provided privacy since there were bedrooms on different levels/ends of the house. The two large jacuzzi tubs didn’t get used during our stay but we’re definitely a nice feature to have! My toddler and 10 year old both had a blast and thought the cabin was the coolest! We ate out during our stay but next visit we will be bringing food and making use of the fully stocked kitchen. They even had a cast iron skillet which I thought was awesome! We rented this cabin for our family that came from another state. This cabin was beyond our expectations. There was a total of 11 people in our party and we had plenty of room to sleep comfortably and enjoy family time together between cooking in large kitchen (the kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of) the large dining table (my nephew called it the “Last supper Table) to the theater room. That was one of my father in laws favorite rooms. This place is truly a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, privacy and lots of amenities inside the cabin to make you want to stay in. Jeremy is very communicative and was a wonderful host. We would love to come back and highly encourage anyone thinking about staying here to, you will not regret it. ##### Crystal D. Our stay at the Grillin Bear Lodge was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The lodge was beautiful and spacious and provided all the furnishings we needed including a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals. We enjoyed the game room and private theater which made for a fun family popcorn night with large-screen viewing. The lodge was nestled in the mountains with spectacular views. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the wrap-around deck and on private balconies off the bedrooms. It was a fun place to vacation as there are many attractions to take advantage of. Some of those things were: hiking, wine tasting, zip-lining and visiting Cades Cove and Anakeesta Mountaintop Park. It should also be said that Jeremy is a great host. He was accessible and took care of all our needs. All in all, it was a most memorable vacation and we highly recommend a stay at Grillin Bear Lodge. ##### Val M. We had folks from 25 to 85 years of age and everyone had a blast! The lodge has so much to offer and is extremely spacious. We never felt crowded. The beds were so comfy and plenty of towels for the hot tub and bathing. The coffee station was perfect and the bar was a big hit. The wraparound porch was so inviting for reading, talking or just taking in the gorgeous mountain views. We enjoyed the firepit, a great place for smores, as well as the fireplace in the living room, just stunning. The theatre room was awesome - think about bringing some old home movies, very cool to watch together. The driveway was steep, but doable. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Communication with the owner Jeremy was top notch. The suggestions of what to do and where to go were much appreciated. What a BEARY wonderful place!!! ##### Iris D. ---
