I chose the cabin for its location – close to GSMNP while avoiding the traffic near Gatlinburg. The location is perfect for those exploring GSMNP. We had the shortest drives ever to Cade’s Cove, Meigs Falls, and The Sinks. We took two separate day trips to the southern end of the park, including a visit to the Museum of the Cherokee People, hiking the Deep Creek Waterfall Loop, and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway to Waterrock Knob. Each day, we returned to the cabin in time to relax in the hot tub and go out for dinner.The host was welcoming and attentive to our pre-trip questions. Instructions were clear, and we had no reason to contact them during our stay.The cabin’s rustic charm, along with modern amenities, made it very comfortable for both of us. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The cabin photos accurately depict the spaces and facilities.We highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and recharge. The location was perfect as you can get. Townsend, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the GSMNP are all very close. So there was always something to do everyday without too much travel.The place itself was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also quiet and had a pretty great view. The hot tub was definitely nice as we had a few chillier days.The only real downside of the place is that for our family it felt a tiny bit cramped for the four of us. We didn't spend a ton of time at the cabin, but if all four of us wanted to watch TV we had to share a couch. And that's sort of nit-picking.But overall, it was a very nice place that definitely made us want to come back. ##### Luke A.
