We wanted a great view from a hot tub, 2 beds, a fireplace, and that was about it. This cabin had those things and more. Hosts were great. Home was great. Would stay again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Views
This cabin was perfect for us! The views were beautiful. We loved the hot tub! It was private and overlooked the mountains. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed! We can't wait to come back!
Overall perfect stay. Cabin was clean and the views were amazing. Tons of big windows and felt very secluded. Spent our time mainly in the cabin because it has everything you would need to get away for a long weekend. We were able to sit on the porch swing as a thunderstorm rolled into the mountains. Will definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect as we expected to be. We have a visit at the first night, the bears were in the porch, was a good experience, they were at front door playing.
The most peaceful and scenic setting you could ask for. The name of the cabin "Bear Crossing" did NOT disappoint; on our 4th day, mama bear and three cubs came up around the cabin, crossed the driveway and back into the Woods towards the cabin below.
The views such a blessing,, we have found our new vacation spot for sure.
Nice, private cabin with wonderful views! The road up is steep with several hairpin turns, but paved, so totally doable. Spent majority of our stay on the deck, never turned on the tv's or used the pool table. Perfect weekend!
If you're looking for a cozy cabin in the Smokeys with breathtaking views, this is the one!! It's located 1.6 miles from the bottom of the mountain. It had just what we needed to make our stay fantastic. From the fireplace to the hot tub on the back deck. This place is very nice and well maintained. We would recommend this to anyone that's looking to get away to a nice cabin on top of the mountain.
Our family of 5 enjoyed this cabin recently for spring break. It was just what we expected and worked out perfectly for our week in TN. It was cozy and comfortable after busy days spent hiking in the mountains and exploring in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The kitchen is decently stocked and we made majority of our meals in the cabin. The kids enjoyed the loft and pool table. We all enjoyed relaxing on the porch and the hot tub. Lastly and importantly the views were top notch and worth it for sure!
The rental was everything that was promised.
An amazing view of the mountains as leaves were changing.
The roads were narrow and a little tricky with a large pickup truck. The parking is a little challenging until you do it a couple time.
But those items will not stop me from coming back or recommending it to friends.
An overall great time.
What a fantastic property. I have stayed at other locations in this area and this is my favorite. The home is perfect for a family with ample room for all. It is close to wears valley and the pigeon forge strip (5 miles). That makes it the perfect central location for all activities within the area. The views are spectacular. You could spend all day on the large deck soaking in the views alone. The home is very peaceful and quiet. The condition of the home was exceptional. We enjoyed the way that the owners decorated the home. It is situated on a mountain and the roads to the home were gorgeous. We had a Jeep and was able to remove the roof and soak in the fall colors as we drove up to the home.

A Perfect Cabin
Rent this one!!!! OK... first time driving up the hill you may wonder if your car will tip over. It won't. Even though there are other cabins on the hill, you'll feel secluded on top of the world.
Cabin was tastefully decorated, immaculately cleaned and felt like home at first sight. Easy access to town and National Park is only a few minutes away. For dog owners, note there is a fire break trail on the other side of the road. It's worth finding.
This cabin was good and hit all of the basics. Great views, good layout, and overall a pretty average cabin experience. The property needs to be cleaned for sure and there are some maintenance issues with the cabin but mostly minor. The host were easy to reach and overall we enjoyed our stay. Here are some pros and cons
Pros:
-View was great. Especially from the top loft bedroom. Nice to wake up and look out over the valley
-Bed was great. I slept great and I'm usually pretty uncomfortable in these cabin beds.
-Easy to get to. It might seem a little out of the way but it is only 15 min from town and a pretty easy drive after the first mile or so of steep driveway
-Trail. There is a somewhat hidden fire-break road/trail across the road which follows the road up the mountain. It was a nice place to do a quick walk to get some exercise if you need.
Cons
- Trash. The property was littered with trash - especially on the hill under the back deck. The view is great as long as you don't look down and see the numerous bags of trash, egg cartons, etc down there. There is also old chairs, and misc old items around the back of the cabin.
-Minor maintenance issues. Cabin was very clean but just needs some minor TLC. Doorknobs coming off (back door), upstairs bathroom knob, hottub cover needed replacing as it was literally falling apart, windows needed cleaning, etc.
- No fire pit. Maybe there are fire restrictions in the area but be aware there is no place for a outdoor fire for marshmallows, etc. My kid was very disappointed.
Again, none of those cons were huge deals but just something to be aware of .
The view is gorgeous. Everything was clean and comfortable. Son loved the pool table and we all enjoyed the hot tub! It’s about a 10-15 minutes drive to pigeon forge activities and 20 minutes to Gatlinburg activities. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Host was responsive and easy to get a hold of.
Check in and out was easy. We found ourselves sitting on the porch for hours just relaxing to the views. We even had a couple little black bear nosing around late on our last evening. Will be going back!!
All I wanted to do was sit on the porch swing and gaze at the mountain. It was absolutely beautiful. Definitely drive your 4x4. The drive through the little neighborhood and street is straight up. Worth it.
This cabin has a gorgeous view over the valley. Very cool view for watching lightening storms. We enjoyed seeing various butterflies and a Luna Moth our first evening there. The hot tub was amazing and helped relax after a lengthy drive.
The cabin was great. View was awesome. We couldn't say anything negative about our stay. Would definitely recommend it, we would stay again. Our group was mom (91) and her three daughters. (60-70)
