We decided to drive down to Pigeon Forge for a nice week long trip with the kids. This cabin/house was the perfect reset needed from our busy lives in DC. The house was pretty much like seen in the pictures, only difference was the fire pit was missing on the back patio near the hot tub and the pool table was switched out with a shuffle board table. The house was clean and location was great! A quick drive to Dollywood, bird sanctuary, and all the other attractions in Pigeon Forge. The owner was responsive and even went out of their way to send a souvenir photo we had left in the cabin when we left. The hot tub was a great way to wind down after a long day of walking in Dollywood. The neighborhood was not to difficult to drive (we had a minivan) but about what you would expect for a mountain home. There is a gas station pretty close if you need last minute supplies. My family and I loved staying at the Mountain Side Retreat. It was very clean and in a great location. We were about 10 mins. from Dollywood and 10-15 mins. from all of our favorite restaurants. We loved how the cabin was layed out and loved playing the shuffleboard table in the evenings. The area is very quiet, the only things you hear are animals and the Dollywood train horn if you're outside which was very enjoyable for us. I suggest this cabin for anyone who wants a peaceful escape that's still very close to everything. The host, Kishan is great!
