🏠 IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES & PROPERTY GUIDELINES 🏠

* Please remember you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect, if any problems do arise, we will do our very best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

* Mountain weather, wildlife, power outages, and other unforeseen events may occasionally affect your stay. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. No refunds for inclement weather, natural disasters, power outages, medical events, etc., and other circumstances that are beyond our control.

* Bugs and pests are a natural part of mountain life. Please keep doors and windows closed when possible to help prevent them from entering the cabin. We work with a local professional pest control company that uses organic-based treatments to help keep pests under control. Despite these efforts, occasional sightings are normal, especially in a mountain setting. Please note that refunds will not be issued for occasional pest sightings.

* Bears and insects are common in mountain areas, so keep doors closed, never feed wildlife, and never leave food in vehicles or outdoors. Place all trash inside the designated bear-proof receptacle and close and lock it securely.

* This property is on a septic tank. Do not put anything in the sink that is biodegradable. Do not pour grease, oil, fats, or ground coffee down the garbage disposal. Flush only toilet paper down. No sanitary products, wipes, paper towels, hair or chemical cleaners, etc.

* Please keep the hot tub cover securely in place whenever the hot tub is not in use. This helps retain heat and prevents the cover from blowing away during high winds. Do not turn off the hot tub. If the water level drops due to use or evaporation, please add water until it is above the jets. Glass, food, drinks, soaps, oils, pets, and other foreign substances are not permitted in the hot tub. Children must always be supervised, and all posted safety instructions must be followed.

* No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the property or on the premises. Additional cleaning and deodorizing costs may apply if smoking occurs.

* Only registered guests are permitted, and maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded. No parties, events, unauthorized visitors, or reservation transfers are allowed.

* Pet policies vary by property, so please follow the rules listed on your specific reservation. Where dogs are permitted, a maximum of 2 dogs is allowed unless otherwise approved.

* No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.

* No unpermitted open burning.

* Fireworks are not permitted.

* Please treat the home and furnishings with care, do not rearrange furniture, and follow all appliance instructions.

* If the cabin has a gas fireplace. The fireplace will not be operational from the months of March through September.

* Some amenities may vary by property, and occasional maintenance or service interruptions may occur. Maintenance personnel may need access when necessary for repairs or emergencies, with notice when practicable.

* Please leave the property reasonably clean and report any damage or maintenance concerns promptly. Guests are responsible for damage, missing items, and excessive cleaning caused during their stay.

* Please double-check that you have all your belongings before departure. Unclaimed items may be disposed of after 30 days, and guests are responsible for return shipping costs.





❄️ Winter Driving Safety -For those visiting between November through April

⚠️ Mountain Roads: Please be aware that our cabin is located in the mountains. Local roads are curvy, narrow, and steep in places, though well-maintained. We cannot guarantee road conditions and cannot offer refunds due to concerns over heights or road conditions.

⚠️ Winter Travel: During the winter months, we highly recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles and/or snow tire chains for safe travel in case of inclement weather. Fresh snow can make roads more challenging to navigate, so please plan accordingly.

⚠️ Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to protect your booking in the event that weather makes roads impassable. This way, you’ll have peace of mind should unexpected weather conditions arise.
