Prime Location yet Secluded! Gaze across the gorgeous Smoky Mountains while soaking in the hot tub or relaxing on the porch. You won't find another cabin this secluded yet incredibly close to all of the attractions! Wildwood Cabin is an authentic log and chink style cabin nestled in the woods with a long private drive, yet only 2 miles from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from Gatlinburg (5 miles from Dollywood; 6 miles from Smoky Mountain National Park). Pool table, 6 tv's, and board games included for fun indoor entertainment! The space \*There are 5 bedrooms. Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 each have King beds, Bedroom 4 has full-over-full bunk beds with a twin trundle bed underneath (max total weight 250 lbs on bunk beds), and Bedroom 5 has a pull-out sofa. All 5 bedrooms have flat screen TVs. \*Hot tub under the covered porch with a secluded and peaceful mountain view. \*Charcoal grill with grilling utensils provided. \*Relatively easy drive on a paved, single-lane road with flat parking. Four-wheel drive is NOT necessary except in the unlikely event of snow/ice. \*Laundry closet with washer and dryer. \*Professional cleaners provide toilet paper, paper towels, and dish liquid in STARTER QUANTITIES. Cleaners provide 2 trash bags per trash can, so please bring more supplies as needed. \*High-speed internet and Wi-Fi, but keep in mind we’re in the mountains so the Internet can be inconsistent. \*Fully equipped kitchen with coffee pot (bring filters if desired). \*Board games and cards available. \*Wood burning fireplace in living room. \*Decorated with antiques and crafts from the Great Smoky Mountain artisans. \*Full hand-hewn exposed wood and beams. Drive slowly and pay attention for oncoming traffic. Other things to note \*PLEASE NOTE: OUR CABIN CAN ONLY ACCOMMODATE A MAXIMUM OF 8 ADULTS (13 guests total including children). \*Just like with any home, there are times when appliances (including hot tubs) can break. If this occurs during your stay, please notify us immediately and we'll do our best to remedy the situation as soon as possible by repair or replacement. We value our maintenance team and they work hard to remedy appliance malfunctions and other problems as soon as possible. However, we are not responsible to provide a refund if an appliance breaks. \*Please put all trash in the bear-proof bin located in the parking area. The short stretch of narrow road was a concern but proved to be a non issue. The view is awesome and loved the privacy! Our family had a great time together. On Thursday afternoon a good size bear did come for a visit and even checked out our vehicle but wandered off(no food). Then on Friday morning the whole family of 4 came by, but moved on quickly. My family of 8 (myself, my spouse, and 6 kids age 5-12) stayed in this cabin for 5 nights. We were immediately impressed when we arrived. The cabin was just as described in the listing. The cabin was very clean and appeared well taken care of. Very spacious. I loved the updated, easy to control thermostats. The cabin host reaches out to check on us regularly, and was very responsive and worked diligently to take care of any issues. My favorite part was that it was secluded in the woods high up in the mountain. We even got to see a bear while we were there, it walked right up onto the porch while I was sitting on the porch, then walked back down the driveway back into the woods. I enjoyed this stay very much! Would definitely return and would recommend! ##### James S. The host was so welcoming and provided clear instructions and assistance. The cabin was wonderful - very clean and absolutely beautiful. Host was very helpful in insuring everything our stay was the best possible. While there we did see a bear . The view is beautiful, enjoyed it while having morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable. Will stay again when we do another family getaway with children and grandchildren.
