As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. • Pets: Maximum of (1) pet allowed. Adult dogs under 50 lbs permitted. $50 pet fee required before check-in. No other types of animals allowed. If any other pets are found, a $200 fee applies; guests asked to leave with no refund. Pets must stay OFF furniture/bed; use their own sheet or blanket if needed. Excessive fur/hair left behind incurs a $150 cleaning fee. Clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash outside. Pets must not wander around other cabins; not all are pet-friendly. Policy is STRONGLY ENFORCED. • Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the cabin - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you choose to smoke on the deck, please refrain from discarding cigarette butts on the ground. Ensure the butt is fully extinguished and deposit them in the designated sand-filled pail or trash can before departure. If housekeeping or the groundskeeper needs to pick up discarded butts, a fee of $1 per butt will be charged. Evidence of smoking inside the cabin will result in a charge of $200 for deodorizing the home. This policy is STRONGLY ENFORCED. • Check-In/Out: The bed may be left unmade with sheets and pillowcases left on. Used towels/washcloths should be placed in the bathroom bathtub. All trash should be put in the outside garbage can. Close all windows. Make sure the door is locked before you leave. Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. If an amenity or feature stops working during your stay but was reported working by our maintenance crew, we will attempt to repair the item but cannot guarantee the repair and no Vrbo refund will be made. • We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds on cancellations outside of Vrbo's extenuating circumstances policy. I feel like we got the bare minimum of what was needed for our stay. We stayed 5 nights and we had 4 bath towels. Could have been cleaner and the stove burners were nasty. On a positive note \~ the layout of the cabin was perfect for 2 people and the location was good. ##### Mandy H. There was heavy dust on the top of the cabinets, inside one cabinet, top of headboard, super heavy dark dust on inside of bathroom door (it’s been there awhile), the French doors to the bedroom had dusty frames. Whoever supposedly cleaned did a terrible job. The underside of the couch was dirty also. We expect bugs to be present, the spiderwebs on the outside looked old, there was also moldy coffee inside the coffee pot, thankfully we brought our own. I sent the Host a message before we left Florida and recieved a prompt response, I sent an email the next day (no response), I sent an email a few days regarding the issues (with pictures), also no response. The only correspondence I got were automated emails before our trip, the day after and this morning, no personal responses to either emails I sent.
