My one family vacation a year event and it really stressed me out to the point I had anexity the whole time. The wifi did not work at all the whole time we were there. I communicated the issue and it was not resolved. Having to drive out of cabin just to use your phone to check where to take the family out too was not a pleasant experience. I was honestly hoping for some sort of discount for the inconvenience but none was offered. The staff was extremely helpful with booking and check in. The cabin had enough stocked in the kitchen to make staying in and cooking pretty convenient. Grill was clean and the gas tank was full. There was still crumbs on the floor in the corners of the rooms. And the more you looked around and started looking in the cupboards, there was left over trash and wrappers left behind. Very clean and well taken care of. Pool table was a bit disappointing because it was a short table and really needed new felt on top. Water in jacuzzi tub got cold fast but there was a hot tub too. Driveway was a bit treacherous due to the steep incline but was able too negotiate with a little caution. Upstairs game room and the cubby beds upstairs were gone eat for kids! The location was perfect for our family to enjoy Gatlinburg and the National forest, while staying away from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living space. The cabin needs a serious deep cleaning & we would have appreciated some household necessities that we’ve had in all other vrbos that we’ve stayed in the past. We traveled from Ohio to get here & had to go buy household items that I would have thought would have been provided (dish soap, trash bags, etc). So just keep in mind if you are traveling here, to pack that stuff ahead of time or be prepared to make some runs to the store. Otherwise, the cabin was quaint and cute & the porch won my heart. My 5 year old & husband also enjoyed the games up in the loft and the baby (1.5 year old) enjoyed the open floor plan to run around! ##### Carly C. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time and really enjoyed are stay but I was disappointed in the décor of the cabin and have a couple of suggestion. The futon upstairs needs to be trashed. The downstairs furniture also could be replaced, TV'S the cabin was a very nice cabin but didn't offer much entertainment, suggestion it's 2014 get some big flat screen TV'S and trash the old ones. Fire pit in the back yard off of the deck. Open deck so you can access it without going all the way around the front. Also this would help when adding more water to hot tube. Bath room doors, none of them locked and the upstairs door wouldn't even latch. Front door was very hard to lock and open.
