Come enjoy this well appointed lodge in the Smokys, with easy access to all the attractions but nestled in a quiet wooded area. The spacious floorplan allows for family and friends to gather in the family room, game room or on the decks. Each of the four primary bedrooms boast a king bed, private en-suite bath, and new 55" HD TV with Dish. Each level has a half bath off of the main living area, which is convenient and private. Step outside to the deck, from any room, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the river. Soak in the private hot tub in the covered gazebo! Enjoy the firepit on chilly nights! This beautiful getaway is located on the Little Pigeon River, one of the best trout and bass fishing rivers in the Smokys! Things to be aware of: \*We recently installed Starlink for internet service, which is brand new to the area and we are on their "Best Efforts" program. We have not been able to try it ourselves. The speed test shows 80mbs which is fast for our location! \*The road and the driveway leading to the home is somewhat curvy and steep. But once you give it a go, you'll be a pro! \*Steps to the cabin - between the driveway and the front door are two sets of steps, 8 steps then 3 steps. \*The cabin sits directly above a nice set of rapids with calmer areas located up and down river. The steps and paths for river access are slippery and caution must be used, especially with children and elders. Explore at your own risk. \*Hot tub is for your enjoyment but should be used with extreme caution. \*River tubing is a ton of fun. Put in downstream, away from the rapids. Take out is at a small paved area off of 321, to the left as you leave the neighborhood. BYO river rafts, river shoes and life jackets. Enjoy at your own risk. \*Wildlife is abundant in a beautiful wooded, secluded area. Be aware that bears and other wildlife, including bugs, are a part of the Smoky Mountain woods experience. \*This is bear country. Keep all car doors locked and free of trash and food. Do not feed the bears. \*Due to the remote, wooded, and hilly location, there may be times where internet service may be slow or out for periods of time. Starlink is new to our area and is working great so far. \*Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. \*Pets are not allowed on the premises. This is our family home and our son is extremely allergic. Please no pets of any kind. \*Please be aware of weather conditions during your stay. We are not responsible for power outages, internet outages or maintaining the conditions of the roads, decks and driveways in the event of rain, snow, ice, etc. \*Please do not relocate any interior or exterior furniture. \*We cannot offer refunds for inclement weather, COVID, or extenuating circumstances. Kristie is so pleasant to speak with as i had questions before the stay. Fully stocked with dishes, towels, starter soaps and laundry detergent and dishwasher soap so that was nice! And shampoos and conditioner and soap for showers which was great! The hot tub was wonderful and the sound of the river makes for a peaceful stay and sleep. Kids loved playing in the river and husband caught trout. With a tennessee fishing license of course. This location we picked was amazing! It was a great vacation location. The cabin was the perfect size and location to a stream and a nice fire pit area. It was everything that all us of wanted. The only thing we didn’t use was the hot tub, but that was because we came back tired every evening and had plans the next morning early. The river is beautiful and loud. Be aware that the river is not a place to play in right in front of the house. The house is beautiful and comfortable- everyone has plenty of space. We’ve stayed in many vrbos and this has been our favorite. I will say this, not as a complaint but be aware, there’s some stairs and slick surfaces. Not necessarily a place for people with knee or stability issues. But for everyone else, it’s the best places in the smokies. ##### Anna B. We had fun exploring the river ..of course with our river shoes and sitting on the balcony every chance we had. The kids played pool for hours and enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin is not too far from town and at the same time private from the hustle and bustle. The host was attentive to be sure we were settled in and readily available. The home was as described in the listing and the host was excellent - she provided tons of information (even an app to download on our phones) about where to go to get groceries, activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, places to eat, and everything you needed to know about the home itself. The river was amazing and our kids enjoyed climbing the rocks and exploring along the bank. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool table, arcade games, hot tub and fire pit. Four master bedrooms each with its ensuite bathroom! The setting was perfect, secluded yet close to. Gatlinburg, the national park and more. The view from both large decks of the river were perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The host was very responsive to questions. My husband's only regret was that he didn't bring his whitewater kayak because there was a perfect surfing wave on the river right in front of the home. He and my grandson did enjoy the quiet pool of water down the steps to the left and we all enjoyed the hot tub. ##### Sarah Z. We knew from the pictures that we were going to have a great time but this trip far exceeded our expectations. We came with the teenagers and grandparents for a Spring Break retreat. When we arrived the views took our breath away. The sounds of the river were so soothing and relaxing. We had so much room for the 8 of us. Each bedroom was huge with private bathrooms and 2 additional half baths!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner and play games after spending the days exploring Gatlinburg. The drive into Gatlinburg was super easy and truly no traffic. The game room was a huge hit with video games and a very nice pool table which we took full advantage of some family competitions. Our 12 year old was so excited to fish in the river and he had a blast. He got to see an otter playing in the rapids and we saw eagles soaring overhead. The hot tub was a perfect way to soak in the sights and sounds after long days. We truly did not want to leave. Kristi was so kind and communicative and shared tons of details and tips. I NEVER go barefooted in a cabin, but I did at this one. The floors were the cleanest we have ever had. We set new high scores on the arcade game, but I'm sure that you can beat them. We played pool, and we played in the river. It was close to everything that we needed and wanted!
