Cabin was in a nice area. The first night we found out that squirrels had made their way into the roof area of the house and could hear them at night. No big issues just noisy. After walking all day seeing the sights came back to relax in the hot tub to find the jets didnt work. Called the following days to report it, along with the squirrels and no one came the check on it. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. I wish it had Internet because the cell service was horrible there so we felt very disconnected while there. But overall was a good stay.

Very nice and clean cabin....a little off the "beaten" path with a challenging drive up mountain, especially after dark. The only disappointment we had was hot tub was filled at time of check-in which prevented use until water heated the next day.

Nice and quite. For those wondering the infamous recliner has been replaced with a very nice glider chair. Only thing I would recommend is a TV in the pool table room and some patio furniture on the lower deck. Nice place though.

If your gonna stay here just know the GPS will stop working no matter what kinda phone you have lol but I will tell u this you pass two set of signs on your right but you keep left and when u see the 3 bears sign go left and the 1st left again and the cabin 1st on the left .I’m putting this on here because it took us 2hrs to find it even with the turn by turn map they sent us but other than that it’s a beautiful place to stay and it’s up on a hill big one

The cabin itself was cute and was all we needed. My issues were remote for tv’s batteries were dead, the video games that were listed as an amenity did not work, the board games did not have all their pieces and could not be played , the morning of the last day we had no water. And most importantly nobody seemed the urgency to talk to us about the problem

We loved the cabin. We forgot to add the last day and the property management company Bear Cabin Rentals wouldn't let us extend our stay by one day. This cabin was not reserved for that day. We had to get a hotel room in town. Was very upset and will not rent from them again.

Not too far from anywhere but remote enough to get away from the city. Everything as described on the listing. For us this was a perfect cabin to get away. Pros: away from it all with beautiful sunset views. Everything you need is included in the cabin. The management team also called to check in on us and asked about our arrival and if anything was needed. R Very Clean.... Cons: The recliner needs to be replaced (huge dip to the right) and looks like something bit it. Appliances are a bit dated but they were clean and worked well. Needed more towels. We were a family of 5 and couldn’t have a separate towel for the shower if we used the jacuzzi. Lastly this is both a pro and a con - we had no WiFi or internet connection. I would have liked to have an option for WiFi to stream movies at night or listen to music while playing pool. 2 of the days reception into the cabin area was really bad and GPS went out. Good call on management to send written instructions on how to get to the cabin. We would stay here again.

First off directions to the cabin are ridiculous, hand drawn map! When we opened the door the first thing you see is the couch which smells like sweat, the space behind it, there was so much filth behind it and someone's prescription glasses (still there) and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Then I went to lay my Ipad on top of the fridge and decided not too due to the filth there. The carpet going up the steps is so dirty I wouldn't let my grandchildren go bare foot. The towels and wash cloths are bleach stained and look bad, we went to Walmart and bought our own. IF they didn't know, this is why motels use white! The utensils they provide look like they are what someone threw out, and just tossed in a drawer. The hot tub wasn't used because I didn't want to pay for it, this tub needs replaced, it sounds like a freight train when you turn it on! For the money I spent for 4 nights, the condition and cleanliness should of been a lot better, it makes you wonder if they ever change the bedding. There are extra pillows and blankets, which are also stained, I wouldn't let my family put their heads on them or cover up with them. If you have too much trash you have to haul it to town, really? I was talked into renting by my son but after this one, I am going back to a motel. To make money you have to spend money, money is not being spent here There was an envelope left that said "tips are appreciated" , tips for what, doing their job or not doing it? You pay and extra fee for the place to be cleaned, I didn't get my monies worth in the cleaning department. We couldn't let our grandkids outside, there was a pack of 4-5 dogs that were out front by the car every morning barking, didn't want kids to get bit. Both toilets have overflowed at one time or another and the wood floor is black, wonder what those stains are, should of been replaced. I asked about military discount, they said yes but being a holiday we don't honor it on the holiday, I said ok I understand the 4th but what about the 2nd, 3rd and 5th? They said the whole week is a holiday! Really last time I looked the 4th of July is the only holiday in that week, when I was fighting for your freedom, I didn't pick the days I fought, I fought 365 days a year and I didn't take advantage of people and charge more, my service was free! This was our first time renting instead of going to a motel, it also was the last, monies I spend here, we sure got taken in Sevierville Tennessee.

Upon arrival, we found dirty socks on the back porch. Immediately gave the impression that the unit had not been cleaned. The washer had mold growing around the seal. Carpet on staircase appears to have never been cleaned. The jacuzzi sounds like a freight train. Photos are not accurate in that they are VERY dated and the unit as a whole needs a refresh. The propane fireplace ran out of gas. We were told by the local management company that it could not be re-filled during the duration of our stay. (Nights were below freezing). The owner never responded to my messages on the app. VRBO was advised of issues. After several calls to VRBO, I gave up on getting any restitution for a property that did not supply one of their major amenities. Disappointed all around with the experience after spending quite a bit of money to stay at this property.

For the price you pay, it is not that bad however owner can make it more attractive with minimal changes. First of all, sofa bed cover, blankets didn't appeared to be washed. Same is true for the bedroom sheet and blanket. Infact that sofa bed also need to replaced, that looks very dirty. How fair is that especially periods like covid pandemic. What is wrong with the management? What is the owner going to loose, 50 cents of soap and the electricity to wash ?? Second thing is the rocking chair in the living room. I will beg you, please throw that in to the dumpster as early as possible before someone sue you. It is radiculous, I barely escaped hurting my buttocks. It is just a clutter there, nothing else. Carpets in the stairs needs cleaning or to be replaced Last of all if you can spend a dollar more you may get a better soap which will produce some foam. The one you provided looks like a rock directly imported from mars! Never seen anything like that. Or don’t keep the soap. All the above things can be fixed by spending few hundred dollars and probably will give a better impression of this cabin.
