Wake up to the sun rising through the trees and seasonal mountain views. Our home is located in a private and peaceful natural setting. Yet, is only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, 20 minutes from Dollywood, and less than 30 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We do have neighbors. Lots around us are approximately ⅓ of an acre. Please respect our neighbors. We hope everyone will have a good time and create memories for a lifetime! ✔ Level 1 - Enter into a large living room with vaulted ceiling. The primary bedroom has a king sized mattress. It also includes a gas fireplace and a full bathroom with a soaker tub. On this level there is also a full kitchen, a dining room with windows, sofa with a foldout bed (sleeps 2), love seat, and a record player that plays real vinyl. The gas fireplace is available for use from October 1 through March 31 to ensure cozy evenings during cooler months. During the warmer seasons, it remains off to help maintain a cool and comfortable indoor temperature. ✔ Lower level - Bedroom #2 has queen sized bed and private entrance to hot tub. Bedroom #3 has queen sized bed and private entrance to hot tub. There is a full sized bathroom next to the bedrooms. Enjoy the movie room with a smart TV, board/card games. This room has comfortable seating and a private gym area with weights, yoga mats, and a stationary bike. Across from the bedrooms there is a washer and dryer. ✔ Outdoor Space - Wrap around driveway with parking for 2+ cars. In Back: wood burning fire pit with comfortable Adirondack chairs around the fire pit and string lights at night. House deck: screened in porch with comfortable seating and a grilling area. Corn hole boards can also be found on the back deck. The hot tub is below the main deck so it can be used rain or shine! We can sleep up to 8 comfortably. This is a great location for families. Upon check in, we noticed that there were no TV's in the living room area or any of the bedrooms. We were kind of bummed about this at first, but by the second night, we all realized that we actually enjoyed that they weren't in these areas. There is an outdoor screened in balcony deck with a portable heater/fireplace, a pull down screen, and an overhead projector. Every night, winding down, prior to going to bed, we all sat in this area, watched a movie, and enjoyed our time spent together out there. Which honestly, was much, much, much better than just all going to our separate bedrooms and watching TV there. If you're like me, and need the TV background noise to sleep, I literally just streamed TV through my phone and sat it on the stand, turned down low, so that I had the sound in the background still. My 1st morning there, after sleeping, I woke up at 6am, got a cup of coffee, and went out to the enclosed balcony to enjoy the sunrise. At approximately 7am, I watched as a bear walked slowly up the front yard beside the driveway and passed right by me, and into the neighbors yard, and then eventually into the woods. Our second to last night, we enjoyed the fire pit behind the cabin, the light strings around it illuminated the area just right, and made the experience amazing.
