‘A BEAR AFFAIR' is a homely comfortable cabin with hand-made custom cabin-style decor. The cabin has 2 Master King Bedrooms, a Theater Room with movie style seating, Hot Tub Jacuzzi, Pool Table, WIFI Internet & TV's in all rooms with Netflix, ESPN+, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video. This property is surrounded by a beautiful wooded area shown from back porches. Great for one or two couples or an all-inclusive family gathering.

A comfy living room with a large, flat-screen roku TV and ample family seating and comfort. The lower level features movie theater style seating with large projector screen to stream Netflix/HULU/Disney+/ESPN+, a pool table and foosball table to keep kids and adults entertained for hours. Additionally, this cabin has WiFi access that will keep your family connected to social media, news, sports, and business/work.

The two bedrooms have king beds, in-room jacuzzi, roku TV's and an attached full bathroom. The bedrooms have unique creative sweet touches, many of which were hand-crafted by the owner.

The kitchen is fully stocked for all types of meals with dishware, utensils, pots/pans, rice cooker, instapot, blender, keurig machine, regular coffee machine, and outdoor grill.

This property is our own vacation home and operated by us, not a 3rd party company. Our ask is that you enjoy and treat our home like your home.

**Please Note: fire places are electric and for display purposes only. Individual items or decor in home are subject to change occasionally from time-to-time due to wear and tear, damages or removals. Host is not able to provide refunds or other credits due to any unforeseen failure/breakdown with electronics, wifi, movie theater, appliances, fixtures, hot tub and all wear and tear items in the property. Absolutely beautiful

Everything was perfect. The host was very responsive. The cabin was very comfortable and beautiful. Even though I wasn’t there much it really was a great experience. Wonderful Experience in a Mountain Paradise

We had a great time! The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was clean. The movie theater was amazing. Check in was very easy. We were able to relax and enjoy our family time in comfort. We will be booking this cabin again for our next long weekend.

Beautiful Cabin!!

We rented this cabin for one night after staying in another dump of a cabin nearby for 5 nights. This stay absolutely saved our trip and ended it on a high note!! The cabin is exactly as pictured and is immaculately cleaned. They have anything you would need for a comfortable stay and the owner is very prompt in communicating The theatre room is unreal, my daughter lost her mind when she saw it. It was the highlight of her trip. They provide a decent selection of dvds as well as access to many streaming services Everything has clear concise directions, making it easy to operate everything I would of rated it higher if it was an option!! My daughter is already asking when we can go back!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

My spouse and two kids stayed here for 3 nights. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and looked just like the listing. The place was spotless and it was obvious the owners really want to make guests feel welcome.Neil was great at communicating prior to check in and departure. The cabin was equipped with all the comforts of home. The highlight of our stay was the theatre room and jacuzzi tubs in both master suites and of course the balcony with hot tub and gas grill was a hit. The coffee bar was also a great treat! We simply didn’t want to come home. I highly recommend staying here. We will most definitely rent from this host again as he owns 4 properties that are also lovely and quite affordable compared to other cabins nearby. We were only about a 5 minute drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so the location was superb! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Money very well spent!

Family Fun

Cozy, secluded and full of charm. Perfect spot for our family of four. Plenty for the teens to occupy themselves with in the cabin and lots to do just minutes away in town. And family movie time cozied up in front of the projector and amazing surround sound system was like having our personal movie theater. Only wish it was bigger so we could bring more people with us. We will definitely be back next time we come to town. Thank you to Neil for hosting such a great property.

A Bear Affair

When we first arrived, there were several issues we ran into. The property manager Neil and his repair lady Melissa were amazing to work with and very responsive. I was however surprised after booking and before arriving to get an email that states that we have to vacuum the floors and do the dishes by hand before putting the dishwasher that the cleaning fee we paid does not entail some of these descriptions. This is the first VRBO that I've had that with. Also I was surprised that every time we left the cabin for the day we had to shut off the AC. I am pregnant and don't tolerate the heat so well so coming back and having to wait for the cabin to reheat up every day was not the best. The cabin itself was gorgeous besides the small is she's re-ran into and the property manager was amazing to work with. I would stay at this place again as they were very responsive and made sure to get the issues fixed. And that says a lot about a person and their place. 2 days out of the five we were there, we saw bears which was awesome.... So the view is great, the location is great

Fantastic stay - perfect property

This was a perfect stay for my son and me. We have specific criteria and this checked all the boxes. Everything was comfortable and clean - and lots of fun for the little one. :) Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but not too close for those that prefer staying away from all of that. The owner was easy to work with and checked in as well. I’d stay again.

Wonderful Family Stay

We had an absolute wonderful family vacation staying at Bear Affair! We were there to spend a much needed extended Christmas vacation with family we hadn’t seen in a very long time! It was the perfect layout for our immediate family of 5. Our children were very happy to have the pool table and big screen to hookup to their electronics! We also loved having the hot tub after hiking all day!! It was very cute and clean and perfectly decorated for the holiday! Neil was also extremely timely with all communication and questions which made things very helpful! Another bonus is how it’s perfectly placed between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! We look forward to going back this summer!!

Up the Mountain we go

Enjoyed our stay. It did take awhile to get the cabin cool. And we would of liked a restroom where you didn't have to go thru a bedroom. The media room was awesome and communication was great.

Thanksgiving get away

Had a great stay for thanksgiving with the family! It was a great size for our family. Would recommend some more towels to be able to have plenty between showers and hot tub as well as a way to recycle trash and maybe some more items for the kitchen such as cutting board, wine opener sharp cutting knifes etc. We enjoyed the view and the weather from the cabin and hope to be back again one day!
