It's not like the other cabins - it is PRIVATE! Mature woodlands form a stunning backdrop to our private yet ultra convenient and updated cabin. Start your morning sipping hot coffee on the wrap around porch and come home to stargaze with the setting sun in the hot tub with no one in sight. You won’t find a better place to relax, unwind with your favorite beverage and enjoy what the Smokey Mountains area has to offer. Our CLEAN private cabin has two separate bedrooms, both with new KING beds, and two full JUST RENOVATED bathrooms. This was our first visit to TN and we were really there to enjoy the outdoors. Nancy and Frank’s cabin personified that. Up a steep road and driveway, it sits amongst the trees and is truly a restful place. After a day of exploring we would duck and dodge the masses in Pigeon Forge and retreat to the cabin for cocktails on the enormous patio. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and charcoal grill and had most dinners at the cabin. The area is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is very private. Lots of wildlife in the area. Plenty of deer, turkeys and also we saw a bear. If you enjoy seclusion and privacy this cabin is for you. Beds are comfortable. The host was very easy to reach. Plenty of things to do in the area. Would love to visit again in the fall. Will be back again. ##### Debbie R. My husband and I visited for the weekend and was so impressed with how clean this home was. Booking information is spot on, communication with Nancy was a breeze and check in & out super easy. Shagbark is a quiet little community and the cabin is private; you can see 2 other cabins through the woods, but they are not right next to you. My only suggestion would be to have a covered structure over the hot tub for rainy days. We would definitely book again!! ##### REBECCA B. Very private. We enjoyed the hot tub. The road to the cabin after dark was quite difficult to navigate. Many different roads. We did see a bear on our last evening. ##### Sandra G. The description is accurate and exceeded expectations. We even extended our stay an additional night! It's located close to activities, but is secluded and private. This trip was very adventurous even tho things seem like 10-15 miles isn’t very far it will take your about an hour through beautiful mountains with boat loads of scenery. This time of the year with all the different colors of foliage was breathtaking. We cannot wait to return. The cabin is very peaceful and very well maintained. The roads getting to cabin are very steep but was easily accomplished with a 4 foot sedan. Thanks Frank and Nancy. ##### Jimmy M. It was an easy drive to all the amenities of Pigeon Forge. We had no issues, but could see the steepness of the hill being a challenge for some drivers. We spent a long weekend here for two family birthdays and it was a fantastic experience. The owners of the cabin communicated everything very well and the housekeeping service they use did a fantastic job. THANK YOU!!! ##### Jessica B. Just what we needed to unwind and rest. It is private. The bed was comfortable and everything was well stocked and as advertised. I’d love to come back with all my supplies for a week and just stay and relax. I could find nothing to complain about other than I had to leave. Check in and out was so easy. ##### Nicole O.
