Welcome to your home away from home. Our cabin is known for its AMAZING VIEW coupled with a blend of traditional and modern furnishings. It's an upscale cabin in the Smokies TN. Our cabin sleeps 12 comfortably (2 MASTER Ensuite bedroom with KING size bed each) and is a TRUE 5 bedroom where you sleep in privacy (NOT in the open loft, living room, game room, pull out sofas nor hallway). Walk out to our deck and soak in the warm morning sun. \= Our cabin is also very popular amongst honeymooners, couple's retreat and multi-family gatherings. Check out our reviews & pictures = Our cozy cabin is an open space concept & nestled peacefully atop the Smoky Mountains in TN. Past guests include romantic couples getaway (due to its amenities) or 2 families gathering due to its 2 MASTER SUITE setup with its own en-suite private bathroom - providing its own privacy. Complimentary starter kits for kitchen and bathroom needs are also provided. Please note that these are starter kits, which might or might not last the whole duration of your stay. We highly encourage you to bring your own personal supplies that will last the duration of your stay. Please find below some general information about the area & the cabin: AIRPORT - For guests that are flying in, McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville is about an hour &10 minutes drive to our cabin. THE DRIVE - We HIGHLY recommend guests to arrive when there is still daylight to get familiar with the road and route. ROAD ACCESS - Roads leading up to the cabin are all on black top (paved) with 2 to 3 mile section that is a sequence of switchbacks (sharp turns) along the way. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended only during winter season when snow/icy road conditions might occur unexpectedly. PARKING - Guests are welcome to park on the street directly in front of the cabin. There are plenty of parking space. Space can accommodate up to 4 vehicles safely. CABIN ACCESS - Our cabin offers automated check-in service. The front main entry door is equipped with an electronic keypad for automated check-in process. Personalized door code will be sent to guests prior to arrival. Guests are required to sign a Renter Agreement and Security Deposit prior to getting the door code for entry. CELL SERVICE - Cell service in some areas are sometimes spotty. Highly recommended to download the maps of the area for offline usage if you're using your mobile phone for directions. AGE - Primary guest/renter must be 25+ years of age (with the exception of children with their parents) to sign a Renter Agreement and book our cabin. Primary guest/renter must be present at all times (during check-in and the entire stay). PETS - Pets/animals are NOT allowed in our cabin. If you bring your pets, your reservation will be canceled, all monies paid (not limited to Reservation, Cleaning fees and Security Deposit) will be forfeited, and you will be asked to leave immediately. We are pet lovers, however, some of our family members, guests and housekeepers have severe allergic reactions to pet dander. Kindly be considerate and choose alternative vacation properties that are pet friendly. If you need recommendations for pet friendly accommodation in the area, feel free to reach out to us. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - Our cabin's maximum occupancy is 12 persons which include total of adult/infant/toddler. If your stay will have more than 12 person at any given time, your reservation will be canceled, all monies paid (not limited to Reservation, Cleaning fees and Security Deposit) will be forfeited, and you will be asked to leave immediately. Please note: Maximum occupancy is established by local law & regulations. SMOKING - There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in and around the cabin, which includes but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, marijuana or electronic cigarettes. This is a smoke/vape free cabin. Please respect our property and the comfort of our next guests. Violation of this rule will result in total loss of security deposits, a cleaning charge of $500 and an additional charge of $150/room where smoking occurs and/or smoke smell persists. SECURITY CAMERA - There are three (3) security cameras that are motion activated around the exterior perimeter to protect our property and guests. They are mounted near the main entry and both sides of the cabin (the right hand side of the deck under the spot light and the left side which is also under the spot light close to the propane gas tank). We encourage guests to get familiar with its exact location immediately upon check in and contact us for any questions. Any tampering efforts of the camera will result in immediate revocation of access without any refund, termination of renter agreement, loss of security deposits, and local authorities will be contacted to assist. WEATHER, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION - There are no cancellation due to weather conditions/power outages/natural disasters and all things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance to cover the unexpected. HOT TUB - Hot tub usage is NOT for children younger than 13 years old. Guests under the age of 18 years old are not to be left unattended. Alcohol consumption and glass wares are NOT permitted near the hot tub area. This is for the safety of current and future guests of our cabin. Kindly use common sense. If you have consumed alcohol prior, do not use the hot tub. If you think you might be expecting (pregnant), do not use the hot tub. Guests need to SECURE the hot tub cover back properly with the STRAP after every usage (the wind in the area is unpredictable and sometimes strong). Do NOT use any kind of bubble bath gel, bath bombs, essential oils or any kind of soaps in the hot tub as it will clog the filter and jets. Enjoy and use the hot tub at your own risk. WATER USAGE - Our cabin's water source is from a well, thus, excessive water usage will drain water's availability before it can replenish itself. Please respect what nature has given us and exercise water conservation. Timing is also an important consideration during simultaneous water usage - meaning: running a washing machine, filling up a jacuzzi tub, filling up a soaking tub, and taking multiple showers all at the same time will result in loss of water. FIREPLACE (available Nov-Feb) - Please remember to always turn off the fireplace after usage. No other fires (inside or outside) are allowed - including candles. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS - There are 3 fire extinguisher throughout the cabin. One on each floor. Please get familiar with their location immediately upon check-in. FIREPIT - Firewood are NOT provided, however, they can be conveniently purchased at major big box stores. TRASH - Please empty out liquids to the sink and NOT the trash bags. Kindly place all trash into trash bags and secure them with a tie. There are bearproof trash compartment to the left of the property as you walk out from the main door. Please ensure to safely close and secure the trash compartment's door. GARBAGE DISPOSAL - Do not put/throw fibrous foods into the garbage disposal. It will clog the unit which results in an overflowing sink. If this occurs, repair and damage costs will be deducted from the security deposit. PEST CONTROL - Monthly pest control is part of our cabin's list of care. Our contracted pest control company made their best effort to minimize pest's existence inside our cabin. However, bugs & insects whether they crawl or fly cannot be 100% eliminated. For guests that have EXTREME anxiety about coming across small/medium/big insects, we CANNOT offer a 100% guarantee of insect or bug free environment as our cabin is surrounded by living things and nature such as dense trees, plants and leaves. OUTDOOR GRILL - BBQ propane gas grill is provided for our guests' enjoyment while staying in our cabin. It is located on the back porch close to the hot tub area where you can enjoy the view while grilling your favorite food. Kindly clean excess food from the grill to prevent ants and most importantly bear visitation. Exercise caution and supervise children at all times when they are near. CURTAINS/LIGHT COVERING/PRIVACY - Not all windows or doors have curtains. This is by design/purpose. WIFI - WiFi is a complimentary service in our cabin. Though outages are rare, they do happen. This is a service that is provided by a 3rd party (telecommunication company) and is beyond our control if there is an outage. Any tampering efforts of any WiFi equipment will result in immediate revocation of access without any refund, termination of renter agreement, loss of security deposits, and local authorities will be contacted to assist. SAFETY - Our cabin is situated as close to nature as possible, sitting on at least half an acre of land. While we try our best to care and maintain the perimeter of our cabin, we are also highly appreciative of nature offering its own unique feel & experience. To name a few but not an exhaustive list: steep slopes, shallow slopes, slippery slopes, packs of leaves, dry sharp branches, dull and sharp rocks, high winds, and wild animals (the common ones: squirrels, turkeys, and bears) could be present/occur around the property at any given time. Nature is their home so let's appreciate them and use common sense while exploring. My family (spouse, three kids ages 1-4, parents, and in laws) had a wonderful time at WTH Cabin. The house was clean and spacious with excellent views. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Harry was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a small issue with the coffee maker. When I reached out to Harry, he had a new one delivered that day. Two families shared this lovely mountain retreat and enjoyed the gorgeous views and the spacious, updated accommodations. Ten of us had plenty to room to spread out and have our own retreat spaces. The cabin in person is exactly as it looks in photos - spacious, clean and full of enjoyable amenities. Harry, the owner, is incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. He made check in and checkout easy and quickly answered every question I had along the way. It is always a time of laughter and good food, cooking together and playing games. We like beautiful views and peaceful places, away from the beaten path. We chose WTH cabin because of the views and tranquility, and we were not sorry!Sadly for our host, the extreme cold last week apparently caused a pipe to rupture!! One of the downstairs bedrooms was very damaged. The host was incredibly responsive and sent a plumber/handyman immediately on a Friday evening. They were able to isolate the leak and get the water to the rest of the house working within a couple of hours, and we still were able to enjoy our weekend together.Thanks for a great time! ##### Christy L. It sleeps 12 but towels were limited and there were no extra towels for the hottub which would have been very helpful.The kitchen had 3 wine glasses and for our group of 8 adult women was inadequate. Some small drinking glasses vs. large/tall would be a nice touch.The biggest feedback Ill give was what in regards to communication. I was unable to get answers from Harry re: specific info of stores and hikes close to the rental location and he was not really aware of how the kitchen was stocked re: spices and casserole dishes. He did have casserole dishes ordered and awaiting our arrival which was fabulous as we had planned to do all of our cooking in the home. That was much appreciated!His responses to specific questions re: stores and hikes were copy and paste of what i could have and did find from a typical google search. We questioned whether the communication on the app was powered by AI which felt somewhat impersonal.I could never find in my emails a digital file that was sent with info about the home and it was definitely not on my VRBO app. So upon arrival , there was no email password in the home and required another message to Harry to find. A simple sign in the home is highly suggested!Other suggestions would be more than 2 dish towels in the kitchen and a nice substantially sized cutting board for real food preparation. ##### sabrina j. There are 11 of us total, 4 parents and 7 “kids” (age 15-21) and there was plenty of space for everyone! This was especially nice for my three teenage boys who have often end up on couches or in open lofts, but they were able to have their own actual bedroom! Before we even arrived, Harry was an excellent host, providing detailed responses to questions and making the whole process very easy. The details were well thought out, the house and outside spaces were clean and there was a ton for us to do. The kids loved the basement rooms and playing bags outside, and we utilized the bonfire every night. Hands-down, the best part of this cabin is the view! It is stunning, and captivated us all. I even found my teenage son sitting on the back porch (multiple times) swing just staring at the views! No phone in hand! We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the porch and one morning were even lucky enough to see a bear walk right through the property and up to the road! The drive up the mountain might be a little intimidating the first time, but gets easier with every trip, and is well worth the location. We are so grateful for our time at WTH Cabin—lots of beautiful memories made! ##### Kate P. My fiancé and a few family members ventured to the Smokies for a birthday trip. And let me tell you! Waking up on my birthday to the majestic views of the Smokey Mountains was the best present ever. The WTH cabin looks just like the pictures. The cabin was clean, the coffee was stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We felt safe and loved the fact that there were flashlights all throughout the cabin. It was nice to have two master bedrooms with a view. And the game room kept my teenage niece well occupied. My second favorite area of the cabin was the hot tub. Being able to relax watching the sunset over the mountains after a long day of hiking was a blessing for my achy back and a delight for my soul. Getting up the mountain to the cabin was daunting the first day. As Harry, the host recommends arriving during the day is advised. Once we did it a couple of times it was less challenging. The location was perfect to get away from the city but close enough to the main attractions to take scenic drives within 20 - 30 minutes. Harry was a responsive host and even checked in on us during on our first day. If we are ever in the Smokies again I will be at the WTH cabin. Until then, I will miss those post card views. Bonus: I got to see a bear on my birthday at Anakeesta! ##### Tamara P. This mountain retreat is absolutely wonderful...and tranquil...and in fact, heavenly. This house is amazing! We had 12 women - TWELVE, staying here and it was able to comfortably accommodate us all. We were able to be together or alone. We stayed for 5 incredible days. My sister and I were fortunately able to stay in the upstairs master bedroom with the amazing view from our top balcony and the tub looking out into the Smokey Mountains. In the mornings and night time we were all able to fit out onto the main level's balcony for chats and a drink. But, beware of the bears. We had a little visitor the 2nd night we were there. He came moseying around the corner and we all took off into the house. He sniffed our Cheetos then left just as fast as he came. We also had one come up from the yard when we were around the firepit. We were "pros" by then and just walked away slowly. We were able to get some great videos of one of them during the day time; and we had a couple visit the yard one morning as they played together. The only thing you really need to consider when renting this house is that it's at the TOP of a mountain. If you're with anyone who is a little nervous, anxious, or downright scared of heights, you might want to stay a little closer to the ground. I was the sole driver with a few older women and the first day driving up the mountain was terrifying. Harry was a very accommadating host. Top Notch! ##### Lisa L.
