I was there with my adult son and daughter and found it to be a perfect place to relax and spend family time together. The three of us barely left the cabin for four days, although extended family staying nearby hit all the "tourist" spots and had a wonderful time.We sat on the deck and drank wine, read books and soaked in the hot tub. It was a perfect place to escape and just relax. The only "complaint" was the extremely high water pressure in the showers. My son loved it, but my daughter and I felt as if our skin was being sandblasted! Be prepared if you bring children, not just because of the water pressure, but the area is very steep, with drop offs that seemed dangerous. Fine for adults, but I would not let little ones outside without supervision. I would also advise you to try to arrive in the daylight. The access roads are very dark and steep. I was white knuckle driving to the cabin the first night, but it was much easier in the daylight. These things are to be expected in a mountain retreat. Booking was easy and the host was responsive when we had difficulty with the outside lighting, evening though it was late evening weh we contacted them. My husband said it was a great location, super close to Dollywood. His only complaint was that the video games seemed kind of glitchy. My daughter said it was super cozy and loved the hot tub. While the space was generally comfortable, we were disappointed to find that the pool table was broken during our stay. Additionally, the kitchen was lacking some essential utensils, forcing us to go out and purchase pans and knives. Everyone had a great time. The only negative thing we encountered was sporadic internet service. Definitely not the owner’s fault but it was a little aggravating. The pool table needs to be leveled and the kitchen needs some pots pans some decent flatware and dishes. Other than that the cabin was great. This review may seem harsh to some, but all four of us are older adults who came to the mountains to relax have some fun play games and shoot pool. Wanting to sit a out on the deck enjoy the fresh air and views however only two deck chairs, had to use folding chairs from inside.
