Hotel Vis a Vis was absolutely beautiful, the view was spectacular from every angle , the outdoor snack bar to the restaurant to our room was a wow factor , the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your every need. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back .

Staff was amazing and the property is well situated in the city, easily walkable to shops, the beach and everything else. The pool is heated and there are incredible views from the pool, roof deck and restaurant areas.

We loved our stay at Hotel Vis a Vis. The views from this hotel are spectacular, the rooms were a bit small but perfectly fine for what we needed and the staff were amazing, very attentive. Sestri is such a beautiful town and I’d highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying there. It’s walking distance to the town and beaches and makes it a convenient location. However if you’re more of a pool person the pool looks over sestri to portofino it was one of the best views from a hotel we’ve ever had. Thank you Hotel Vis a Vis for making our honeymoon so special!

Hotel Vis-a-Vis is in a lovely location overlooking and walkable to Sestre Levante and its beaches. Hotel staff are helpful and courteous. The pool area is lovely. One downside is no irons are available (even to borrow from the front desk), which is something I have never experienced in a hotel. The hotel could also consider changing room keys to modern key cards versus clunky room keys, which are difficult to carry around, and making on-site parking free (versus EUR 15/night).

Hotel Vis a Vis was our first stop on our honeymoon. Everything was perfect, the staff were so friendly and incredible, breakfast was amazing, and the location was absolutely perfect! The bar manager Andrea Carnevale absolutely amazing. Even if you don't stay here, be sure to visit the Deck Zeus for one of his famous cocktails! We couldn't thank you enough. We will be back!

Just about everything was perfect. The Bar and Restaurants both had amazing views of the city and sea. The staff were wonderful and the bed was comfortable. The pillows could use some help all were beautiful on the bed but to sleep on they were way to big so it was hard to get to sleep. other than that everything else was great.

Exceptional staff, could not have been friendlier or more professional. Not a detail missed - even offering to make a breakfast box as I was catching a 7am train into C5 and thus missing the (spectacular) breakfast buffet. Room was lovely, everything worked and their designer clearly thought every detail through. Veranda was a real treat and gave a wonderful sense of space (all rooms have great views). Rooftop bar was amazing to watch the sunset over an aperitif/light food. “Destination” restaurant on the 4th floor has gourmet food and set menus if you’re looking for something really special - other options are available (although I might just stay on the rooftop!). Management clearly has inculcated the staff with an exceptional sense of service and care - you can sense if from the amazing front desk staff, restaurant service, ground keepers, house maids, towel service at the pool. Thrilled to have made this choice for access to, and to soak in, the Portofino coast and C5 area.
Room 203 (standard double). Peaked into Room 204 which is bigger and has a separate twin bed area alongside the larger space. Big veranda too!

From my chair at the rooftop bar - great place to relax after being picked up from the station from the ever smiling Francesco (train was late, he was waiting with a smile, gave me a tour and made sure I could get something to eat @10:15 if needed).

Beautiful hotel with a view.

This is a beautifully maintained hotel. The rooms are large and updated. All of the staff except the waitress in the rooftop bar were wonderful. The breakfast is top notch plentiful and delicious. We will definitely be back in warmer weather!

We stayed one night in the Family Room. We drove from Nice to Pisa, and then back to the Liguria area for sightseeing. Hotel Vis a Vis is a beautiful location in a friendly and beautiful town. We didn’t get to explore the little town of Sestri Levante because we got to the hotel too late but we enjoyed time at the pool, poolside drinks, and an amazing dinner at the Olimpio restaurant within the hotel. It overlooks the town and has the best view. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Paula walked us around the premises and every member of staff from the bar, pool and restaurant were kind and accommodating. My children are asking when we can come again! We would definitely book here again and plan to stay longer.

Beautiful hotel with the most breathtaking views in the area. We stayed in the classic suite for 2 nights, which although outdated and on the small side was comfortable and suffice for a short stay. The staff and the atmosphere on the rooftop bar has a very relaxed vibe and the sunset from there is memorable. Sadly we found the restaurant on the 4th floor on the stiff side and also dated with average cuisine. We never noticed the other restaurant just below the pool area until the day we were departing, it looked more relaxed and updated. Unfortunately we did not get to use the pool but it looked amazing. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend Hotel Vis á Vis.
