About this property
de Pedra e Cal
Where the Sky meets the Sea
Enclosed in a 1800 sqm property, de Pedra e Cal, is a beautiful romantic Portuguese cottage, built from scratch in the rural / classical tradition with a magnificent panoramic view over the sea and country.
Take advantage of our private swimming pool, measuring 13mx3.5m, with a depth from 1.1m to 1.5m so that the whole family can enjoy it safely. For the little ones, there is a shallow depth area for added fun and security.
Ours, it's a salt water pool, with an additional Ultra Violet treatment, so that chlorine levels are kept to a minimum. In this way we obtain a very pure water, which does not irritate the eyes, hair or skin.
The whole house has been built to take advantage of the marvelous view over the country and extending out to the sea. You can enjoy it from the ground floor and even better from both roof terraces, giving you an unobstructed 180º view .
Walk barefoot along the terracota floors, sunbathe in the patio or in total privacy at the roof terraces, dine in the terracotta patio looking at the country and the sea or gazing at the Cabo Espichel twilight or relaxing in the peace brought by our Zen garden.
If you prefer, dine inside, enjoying music.
Situated in Aldeia Nova de Azóia, Lisbon is 45 minutes away if you want to explore this historical city. The fishing village of Sesimbra (10 min away) with the National Park of Arrábida and beaches including the nudist beach (Meco) are close at hand.
There are a lot of opportunities for trekking, on foot or on a bike, and several paths lead to pebble beaches.
Since there is also a Bus stop, if you prefer (10min walk), you can go by Bus to Sesimbra (15 min) or Lisbon (1 hour).
Sesimbra and Lagoa de Albufeira, are specially good to young children, as the waters are very calm and shallow.
In recent years the Ribeira do Cavalo beach has been taking a lot of deserved attention as its calm blue turquoise waters are very appreciated. You can reach it by foot or boat from Sesimbra
We are in a quiet area. Ideal for families or couples who want a romantic seaside or country holiday.
