Inside you will find luxurious finishes, including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The outside deck overlooks a large backyard and has shipping lane views through Discovery Bay, looking out to the San Juan Islands. A 15 minute drive to Sequim. Things to know about the home: You will be staying in a beautifully built 620 square foot container home. The unit you will be renting is the bottom apartment. These container guest homes are on a 13 acre property where the owners live as well as a friend/property caretaker. There is a pool in between the container home and the owner's home. If you would like to use it a liability waiver would need to be signed. We can not guarantee the use of the pool when you book. If the pool is a reason for you wanting to stay here, please inquire about the pool before you officially book. This container home has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, dresser, and armoire for you to store your things. The Kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, convection stovetop, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen table for 2-4 to sit at. There are 2 televisions in the home. No cable is available, however, we have many apps and programs you can watch using our login credentials or yours. The TVs are Roku and Amazon ready. . Also, there is a washer and dryer combo for you to use. There are 3 outside spaces...One covered patio, one wood deck with patio furniture, and a front concrete pad with seating. We have a charcoal Weber BBQ for you to use. We supply everything you will need (minus the food). We have a small fire pit outside, if you would like to use it please let us know before you arrive so we can have the wood and everything ready for you. (we are in a burn ban every year from July-October so the fire pit will be unavailable during those months) Things in the area: Walking distance to Gardiner Beach and boat launch. Hop on your bike and take a ride along the Olympic Discovery Trail. Not far from the home is the whimsical and beautiful Troll Haven. If you are looking for some entertainment we have the Seven Cedars Casino only a 7 minute drive away. Two miles away is the Sunshine Herb and Lavender Farm. Sequim is considered the Lavender Capital of the World. Less than a half hour drive to the Dungeness Spit which is the longest natural sand spit in the United States. An hour or less from the amazing Olympic National Park. A must see is the spectacular Lake Crescent with great hikes and waterfalls. (1 hour drive) Salt Creek Recreation area is one of the best places for tide pooling around. (1 hour drive) Take a day trip and explore Forks. ( less than a 2 hour drive) Port Townsend has many great places to explore as well and is a 30 minute drive from our location. \- Fort Worden State Park has a beautiful beach and walking trails/hiking. \- Enjoy the Victorian town with many local shops and restaurants. \- Whale watching tours ## Property amenities ### Beach - I have always been interested in shipping container architecture, but never had the opportunity to stay in such a structure. This one was simple in design, and very well executed in fit and finish. From the inside, you'd never know you were in anything but a conventional house...very clean, stylish and comfortable. Little did we know it would be the nicest weekend weather so far and the northern lights would be out so intensely!! The owners were kind. The communication was spot on and the property was amazing! We were encouraged to explore the ponds, walk the property to let the dogs sniff everything and the house was exceptionally clean! Lauren and Brandon thought of everything to make our stay awesome. This is a great place, centrally located among the quaint towns in PNW… allowing us to see many things, but have a place to relax in the evenings. It is extremely clean, great view, quiet.
