"We needed a last minute place to stay and this hotel was great for us. It was clean and felt like things had been recently updated. For the price I feel like it was a great deal. The continental breakfast that was included was quite extensive. I didn't find it super walkable to things nearby, but other than that the location was fine."

"The staff is awesome. Very polite and helpful. Here’s the thing…I use Expedia to book a room and I have a dog. I filter my search to PET FRIENDLY and select a hotel. When I arrive at the Hotel the staff is completely oblivious to me having a pet. Then they charge me a PET FEE for $50. This gets old. I choose Expedia for convenience. WHY CANT EXPEDIA NOTIFY the property that I have a pet. It’s ridiculous."
"Our whole experience was Exactly what we needed. Cool crisp air, beautiful foliage, great day tripping, staff was amazing, great fireplace suite, even honor retail shop to raid freezer for ice cream at midnight. Peaceful, quiet and we HIGHLY recommend! Many thanks. Jo and Mark"

"We had such a wonderful stay in this lovely cabin. The idyllic setting was peaceful and relaxing. Our little dogs loved exploring the large fenced yard. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed."
"Sanctuary by the Sea is all things gorgeous. Jonathan is a knowledgeable, attentive, respectful host. After his welcome and great overview of things to do/see on the Olympic Peninsula, we had our little world to ourselves. Great as a place to return after a day of hiking, but the view made it a place you could just tuck in, read, rest, cook, dream."
