This beautiful Quercynoise house, which is part of the 3 Gîtes du Daudou, is located in the countryside, 1 km from the village of Septfonds. This peaceful 93m² gîte offers a pleasant and relaxing stay for the whole family. It includes a 27m² bedroom, a 21m² living room, a 29m² dining room, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a laundry room. Exclusive outdoor space: 2 terraces with garden furniture, barbecue and bioclimatic pergola, swing, ping pong table, and summer kitchen. Shared with the 3 gîtes: large swimming pool and 6-person jacuzzi, available from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week, from May to October. Boules court available with free pétanque balls loan. You are in the peaceful Quercy countryside and can enjoy the flowered grounds and the small animal park with aviaries. There are numerous visits to make in the surrounding area according to your preferences. The 2-hectare property is fully fenced. The first part houses a small animal park (alpacas, Ouessant sheep, wallabies, miniature horses, peacocks, geese, ducks, Chinese pigs, aviary, etc.). The second part offers walks, flower gardens, and more. We are at the crossroads of Aveyron, Tarn, and Lot. For walks, at 300 meters, there is access to Bois Redon with its PR (hiking trails). You can also visit the Camp de Jude 2 km away (memorial of Spanish deportees). Don’t hesitate to see the 2 dolmens in Septfonds. For thrill-seekers, St Georges Paintball is 3 km away. In the village of Septfonds, there are two small restaurants, a convenience store, and a post office. Gas station, not forgetting the Wednesday market. Caussade, the castle town, is 7 km away, with its factory to visit and its Lère walking park. Jet skiing is possible on one of the lakes. Its Monday morning market will offer you local products. A trip to plan 17 km away is St Antonin Noble Val, the entrance to the Aveyron gorges, with its famous Sunday market, canoe and kayak routes, the Fontalès site, the Bosc caves, and of course the town itself to visit. Another outing is to Caylus, 20 km away, located on one of the St. James of Compostela trails. On leaving Caylus, visit its petrifying waterfall. In Bruniquel, 21 km away, visit its 6th-century castle perched 90 meters high on a cliff overlooking the Aveyron. Nearby, at the start of the Tarn, the fortress of Penne is a 12th-century castle.
