Recharge your batteries in the heart of the Tarn region, right in the centre of a medieval village, and enjoy the charm of a spacious house with a pool (with a safety cover) and outbuildings for 6 to 8 people, suitable for both seniors and young children. There are plenty of opportunities for day trips, and the proximity to Gaillac and Albi offers cultural activities as well as access to numerous shops. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Your holiday home is on Rue de la Poste, just a few metres from the central square. And yet, you’ll be able to enjoy a private pool with a garden that’s completely secluded! Castelnau-de-Montmiral is ideally located for exploring the Gaillac vineyards, where you can let yourself be swept away by the evening aperitif concerts on summer nights. The Tarn region is home to numerous villages and bastides—perched high, surrounded by ramparts, or perched atop rocky outcrops. The charming episcopal city of Albi is about thirty kilometres away. The impressive Sainte-Cécile Cathedral is definitely worth a visit. ** THE COTTAGE ** The cottage is a village house with a private entrance off one of the high streets of Castelnau-de-Montmiral. It’s difficult to drive through the village centre, but there’s a car park located 50 metres from the cottage. Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen open to the dining room. Large living room with a TV area in one corner featuring a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 additional guests. Access to the outdoors from the dining room and living room Upstairs: (the staircase is equipped with a stairlift) - Bedroom 1: two 90x200cm beds that can be pushed together, with a private bathroom and toilet - Bedroom 2: two 100x200cm beds that can be pushed together, with a private bathroom and toilet - Bedroom 3: two 90x190 cm beds; shower room with toilet. Outdoors: Enclosed garden with a private 9 x 3-meter pool (depth ranging from 1.10 to 1.75 metres), secured by a roller shutter. Pool open from April through October. Summer area with a plancha grill, refrigerator, and freezer under an old barn.
