I totally loved the lay out of the room and it was very spacious for 3 people. The hotel is very clean and I love the amenities that they provided. The only drawback I have was when I stayed there in March, the weather was still cold. The floors were heated and we could not adjust the temperature in the room itself and it got very hot. The only thing we could do was to open the sliding doors to the patio to get it to cool down but as a result in the evening when we were sleeping it was noisy. Apart from that the hotel was wonderful." I was quickly reminded that the elevators takes forever (as in it is actually a problem), the staff has an attitude, and the rooms are small (with absolutely no option to work - not even a lounge). I was provided with an accessible room for guests with disabilities, which is no issue. But the bathroom floor had no inclination, so I was left with a wet floor for hours. Next morning i paid a fortune for breakfast only to be asked to dine in the lobby by the arrogant host in the resutant. The gym is great and the area is cool (like 10 minutes walking though), but that is simply not enough for me to ever come back. Will recommend you to explore alternative options as it is likely a better use of time and resources." Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. Although Expedia listed this as a 5-star hotel, I would rate it no more than 4 stars. The room felt dated, the chair at the desk squeak upon any movement. Even small details like the retractable laundry line above the bathtub didn't work properly; after I pulled it out, the string failed to recoil back into the holder. Housekeeping was a major letdown. The bathroom floor mat was removed on day one and never replaced until my final day. A face towel was taken on day three and also not replaced until my last day. On day three, one of the bathrobes was removed and never replaced (though since I was alone, the second one sufficed), nor was I given bottled water. On my last day, the room finally had a floor mat, two face towels, and two bathrobes. I found a pumpkin seed under the desk, clearly left by a previous guest. One small positive: I was on a low floor and could open the window for fresh air, which was a nice touch. Prior to my stay, I messaged the hotel to ask about the airport bus at 2 AM and whether the airport bus served the hotel. I was assured that the bus does stop right in front. However, upon arrival at Incheon airport, I discovered this is only true after 6:30am. Given the price, the dated condition of the room, and the poor housekeeping, I likely won't return—despite the location." The socket in the room is mostly 220 and you would need an adaptor. Coming from the US, I wasn’t prepared for this but they were kind enough to offer an adaptor or you could get one at a nearby convenience store. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and if you like some night life, this is also a good place. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."
