"The Shilla Jeju is a truly excellent hotel, but what impressed me most wasn’t the design or the facilities it was the staff.
Every single team member was outstanding. Polite, attentive, and genuinely warm in a way that went well beyond what I’d expect. I travel often to Europe and the US and have stayed at many hotels along the way, but honestly the service here was better than anything I’ve experienced at hotels in either region.

"Nice hotel. Clean room. Bathroom is old Korean style where shower toilet are next to each other. They did put in a glass divider, but not enclosed. Meaning, the entire bathroom floor will get wet.
Be reminded, you are pretty far from key areas, choices of restaurants, etc. Golf would be the primary recreation. They do have a CU in the lobby, but access via QR code and self checkout. "

"I really don't know why one has to pay to enter a swimming pool. For each visit to the pool, you are required to pay 20000 won. Even after you have paid for your stay. Shouldn't it come with the facilities? "

"Our room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants. Beds un-made and dirty, dirty towels on the floor. The sliding door to the balcony wouldn’t shut so the wind whistled through loudly. Contacted manager who arranged a different room, which wasn’t quite as nice as the room we had “booked” but was fresher. The bathrooms smelt like sewerage after 24hrs and made us feel quite sick. Every 2nd Elevator was broken. What would’ve been a beautiful hotel in its day was now very run down and needed...

"Kids enjoyed the private pool. Area, was clean, safe, and the staff did their best to answer our questions and fixed any issues we had. Area is close to a highway making exploring Jeju ideal. "

"Korean style mattresses can be a little hard for westerners, but the rooms, staff, facilities, amd area are all so amazing that its easy to overlook a harder mattress than i am used to! Wonderful stay!"

"Booked the terrace room and liked the view and space. Cleaning ladies kept the room tidy. Parking is easy and free. A minor feedback is that the front office can learn to be more smiley and greet guests. "
"I did stay or 2 days and had a great time. The pool was heated for sure, but I didn't get a chance to use it, however we did use the indoor Jacuzzi and was happy. They have a great tour right from the hotel which circles near the ocean and was very pretty. Breakfast was decent, would have preferred tags for food to clearly define it's contents, else I had to ask which one was vegan and non-vegan. The staff was helpful though in every which way. The front desk including Sally and the two other gentleman were always with a smile trying to give you feedback on how to plan your stay.
Overall fantastic stay and close enough for most of tourist sports too"
"Staff were friendly and helped to take our luggage up to our room. The lobby was very impressive with a great view.
The rooms were a bit dated and old. One of the draws in the bathroom wouldn’t close unless I forced it in, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom was a good size, however the shower was small and not made for people over 5’8.
Quite a bit of wear and tear on the balcony. There was a new building that was more modern but we stayed in the old one which showed signs of age. The free drinks were a nice touch.
The pool and gym were great and well maintained but can get super busy.
There were load of spaces in the car park and a good amount of charging ports, so super convenient.
GS25 is located next to the hotel, so a good place to grab a quick snack before heading out for a road trip.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. However walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking or kids running in the hallway."

The management really should look after these people they absolutely deserve a raise. Hotels like this are only as good as the team running them, and Shilla Jeju has clearly got something special. Would happily return."
"Poolside using an umbrella in street clothes with 6 family members, only 2 swimming, we were told to stop using the umbrella. It could have been wind or it could have been not wanting non swimmers in the area. "
"This Jeju Island hotel is a gem from the moment we arrived - quick check-in, the scrumptious meals in the on-site restaurants, and over-the-top customer service at every turn. The Haevichi will be our top hotel for a return to Jeju."
"Great for families with kids. A self-contained destination with lovely surroundings. The hotel is connected to the theme park, mall and a variety of food options. "
