Not really a hotel…more of an experiment. Two big issues: arrival logistics and crazed decor. The hotel occupies one floor, 4 flights up off of a busy street. There isn’t a way to stand with a car, so you need to self park in the public parking lot across the way and navigate to the building. Then you buzz to get in but the choices then are the stairs or an elevator, which is locked. No signage explains where to find the hotel floor. When we asked why there isn’t any signage about all of this, they said they assume guests will learn all they need to know from their website. Second issue: while you will see some charming pictures of quirky decor online, in reality the landings, hallways and rooms are crammed with miscellaneous sculptures and art for sale. I am sure this was all a joy to acquire, but it is just too crowded and poorly hung to appreciate any of it. Property upkeep is also an issue, primarily in the common area. Positives are the staff, who try hard, hot water and an excellent location. We are frequent travelers and habitually high raters. This whole experience will cause us to be more cautious about booking hotels in the future.

All I can say is that it was... MOLTO FANTASTICO!

Great location and an easy walk to everything important in Cagliari. The Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. We included breakfast with our stay which was worth the convenience and value. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The property was beautiful, more like a ranch. There are many animals to see as you talk a walk around the property. (Even a Camel) Once you enter the gates, you are in your own resort. I had a nice patio to enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine. The included breakfast was perfect. I also enjoyed a few lunches while on property. I treated myself to a delicious dinner at the restaurant (a short walking distance). (Make reservations at the hotel reception.) The staff were wonderful…the reception, director, servers, and nighttime bartenders! It also had a beautiful pool to relax beside and take a quick dip. (Much needed due to the extreme heat when visiting.) I enjoyed the location as it was 30 minutes west of the busy city of Cagliari. An easy drive to Chia, and on to the west side of the island. A definite recommendation!

Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds. Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing. Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff. There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp. We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row.
