Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. "We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"

"It’s hard to put into words how beautiful, peaceful and serene this property is. We stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly, food and wine delicious, and the property was truly stunning. We spent an amazing day by the pool overlooking the gorgeous vineyard. They offer a delicious breakfast and in the evenings an amazing dinner menu. I also saw a lot of reviews complaining about the narrow roads and I feel i need to clarify for anyone worried...
