About this property

Walls of Glass - Panoramic Views, Hot Tub, Fire Pit Under the Stars

  • THE PROPERTY Our luxury vacation rental is located in the Lower Red Rock Loop area of Sedona ~ around 5 miles out of town and 10 minutes from the conveniences of West Sedona ~ in a colorful little neighborhood called Elmerville. The Red Rock Loop is home to two well-known parks ~ Red Rock State Park, just a few miles down the road, and Crescent Moon Ranch / Red Rock Crossing ~ just a few miles farther. Our community is surrounded on all 4 sides by the Coconino National Forest.

If you're a hiker, you could walk out the door and within minutes, be on trails with beautiful vistas around every turn. You can hike to the top of one of the closest peaks, Schuerman Mountain, to take in those amazing sweeping views of some of the rock formations Sedona is famous for ~ Cathedral Rock , Bell Rock, the Rabbit Ears and much, much more.

THE VIEWS With beautiful Bear Mountain gracing the northern skyline you can see miles of open forest and awe inspiring starry night vistas. Sedona has been designated an International Dark Sky City. When the moon is dim, you'll enjoy views of the milky way from the Hot Tub and patios. The starry night skies are a favorite of ours. From this hilltop perch, there is plenty of sky to be seen. From the spacious Master Suite on the west end of the home, one can see the twinkling lights of Jerome after twilight ~ an historic copper mining ghost town turned artist's colony nestled in the Mingus Mountain foothills. If you’re an early riser, you are more likely to hear the woosh of Hot Air Balloons overhead. Wildlife of varying sizes stroll across the property. You may see deer, javelina, coyote, quail, rabbits, roadrunners and bobcats.

THE HOME: Built in 2007, the house is a Southwest Contemporary Style design. All the rooms and hallways are large and spacious. The front door opens to the foyer of the Great Room - the perfect place for family and friends to for dinner after a fun-filled day of magical adventure that no other place on earth can equal.
The large kitchen has lots of elbow room and counter space for group cooking projects. There is a full oven, a microwave oven, a toaster and toaster oven, a coffee pot, a tea pot, a crock pot, a blender. We intend for you to find everything you need here to enjoy the ultimate Sedona vacation. The kitchen is open to the great room and dining nook all adjacent to each other and to the sweeping views of Bear Mountain, sky, and the natural juniper/pine forest lands through floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. The kitchen is stocked with the basics you'll need to get started. Dining for 8 is available via 6 chairs and a 2-seat bench, all sized to fit both the island counter top and the breakfast nook table for a casual yet elegant dining experience.
The den is a great place to sit and relax, read, or simply take in the views of the property, both north and south. Feel free to browse the bookshelves and drawers for local fare such as Spirit Cards, maps, games, puzzles, and other items to keep you and yours entertained on a rainy day. But then again, this is Arizona where the sun usually shines! The den sofa is the 4th bed when needed.
Outside - both front and back covered patios are furnished. There is a gas grill out back for group cookouts. And did we mention how much you'll love the Hot Tub under the stars?!

Throughout the home hang the large format photographic landscape images of Sedona and the Southwest, from the majestic towers of Monument Valley to the mysterious twisted slot canyons of Northern Arizona and Utah. These images create an ambiance in the evenings with the lights dimmed just right is truly a magical experience!

And when the day is done...
The Master Suite - sits on the west side of the home and is very spacious. It has sweeping forest views from floor-to-ceiling walls of glass - from Bear Mountain in the north, to Mingus Mountain to the Southwest, and everything in-between. The room has a King Bed, with 3" memory foam gel topper; luxurious bedding, a fireplace; walk-in closet, separate walkout to the hot tub, large private bath and separate temperature controls from the main home. The bath has a dual sink and cabinets; granite counters; private water closet. Relax in the large soaking tub with 3 sided window views and bottom-up privacy blinds, light fixtures, and candles. The lighted walk-in shower has dual shower heads with individual water temperature controls.

The other two bedrooms are at the opposite end of the house from the Master Suite. The Dessert bedroom has a King bed with 3" gel memory foam topper; luxurious bedding, rustic desk; double closet with mirrored doors; large 6'x8' patio slider for great views; access to patio seating and hot tub. The Cool Waters bedroom has a Queen bed with 3" gel memory foam topper; luxurious bedding, built-in desk with granite top; ample storage; view window. The shared bathroom and linen closet separate the Dessert and Cool Waters bedrooms from each other for added privacy.
