The bigger house had lots of spaces so people can spread out easily and find time alone even if the house is full of people (careful not to trip going into the raised rooms - we kept forgetting). We gathered at the large table and played games. We appreciated being able to do laundry in both houses. The garden was lovely! We didn’t use the wine room but it sure was cute! The location was great! We walked to Brewer Trail and took it to the top to see amazing sunset views (bring a flashlight for coming back down if you go at sunset and stay a while). It was an easy drive to hike Bell Rock and see all the beauty of Sedona (see Snoopy Rock while walking to the city). Traffic anywhere near Sedona is a nightmare with only one way in and out so we walked to get to restaurants or order delivery so we weren’t spending so much time in a car just to go a mile. Grand Canyon road trip from the house took a little over 2 hours leaving at 5 am on scenic route. At 1 pm when we left entrance gate was backed up 2 miles! Owners were very responsive with unexpected issues (not their fault - just normal house things) and quickly fixed it. Really appreciated the requested crib and high chair were there when we got there. Super helpful! If you hear screaming noises when sirens pass by, don’t panic like I did- probably just coyotes.
