This is the perfect place for families, a getaway with friends or a small family reunion. The property has expansive lush grass to play on and roam around. There is a children’s play structure as well as a trampoline. A red rock path leads down to the creek to take a dip, skip stones, fish, or simply read a good book. Surround yourself in serenity from the deck that is built into the trees overlooking gorgeous Oak Creek. Enjoy the orchard filled with apple, peach, apricot, pear, plum, fig and cherry trees as well as blackberries and concord grapes. There is an outdoor BBQ and a stone fireplace- a must for enjoying a bottle of wine while the kids make s’mores. Often at dusk you will spot deer eating fruit that has dropped from the trees. You can walk or bike to the restaurants & shops of Tlaquepaque or Hillside, which is directly across 179 from the entrance to our neighborhood, and offers renowned shopping and is home to a collective of restaurants for all distinguishing tastes, fine art galleries offering a diverse portfolio of art, sculpture, pottery and jewelry alongside boutiques that more than satisfy with their collection of shoes, fashion and home décor. Bring or rent bikes to take advantage of Sedona’s breathtaking bike paths. From mid-March to mid- November you can watch a pair of nesting blackhawks that return every year to raise a new brood in one of our enormous Cottonwood trees. The main house had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with room for 7 and the detached guest house has a kitchenette, full bath and queen size bed. A queen size air mattress is available along with a pack ‘n play with mattress & high chair if needed. Enjoy all that Sedona has to offer while relaxing in a truly rejuvenating atmosphere. It's an incredibly beautiful property. Our group's kids (2, 4, 5, 6) loved wandering around, following leaves as they float on the small river into the fountain, walking down the stairs to the stream, ambling over rocks and exploring. The house is beautiful, the interiors comfortable, some toys there for the kids. Beds are comfy, the kitchen is super well-stocked. So much light coming in too. We visited during spring break and even when there was a rainy/snowy day we had fun just hanging out at the property. We want to go back! Highly recommended! ##### Charles G. The grounds and house were wonderful for both adults and small children alike. Although we took a couple of short journeys for a hike and to Tlaquepaque, more often than not we just wanted to stay and enjoy the wonderful location. Definitely one of those places where the pictures look good but the everything about the actual place is so much better. Will definitely want to return. ##### Robert T. We waded and hiked Oak Creek, relaxed under the enormous shade trees, bounced on the trampoline, barbequed salmon, and enjoyed the wildlife. The wifi is terrific. Fortunately, the yard, creek, and orchard compelled us to put away our laptops and phones and enjoy being together outside. ##### Joan B. There isn’t enough stars for this review, this home is incredible. The pictures online give you an idea but once you are there it truly is breathtaking and so peaceful. We spent the majority of our time in the back yard enjoying the pond and fireplace, listening to the creek running. There is a ready to use bbq grill, beautiful play area for kids with a tree swing, loads of places to roam and different areas for people to go and sit and visit. The property drips in green beauty everywhere, mature trees very private and no shortage of apples 😊 The house is completely stocked with everything, they really do a nice job with all the little details. Short walk up to town, perfectly situated in the heart of everything! (highly recommend walking because Sedona has alot of traffic!) I could go on and on, this place is must! The home is warm, cozy, and inviting—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Every detail of the house is thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly felt like home.The casita was absolutely perfect for my son and daughter-in-law, providing them with their own private space, while the rest of us enjoyed the main house. My grandkids were thrilled with the playroom, playground, and trampoline—it kept them entertained for hours! It was also so reassuring to have the property fully gated, which gave us peace of mind knowing the kids could run around and play safely.One of the highlights of our stay was when it snowed during our visit. It was the grandkids’ first time seeing snow, and they were absolutely delighted. Watching them experience that magic was truly unforgettable.The back patio, with its stunning views quickly became our favorite spot. We spent evenings sitting outside by the patio heater, enjoying the crisp air and listening to the peaceful sound of the creek. John’s communication was top-notch throughout the entire process, making everything from booking to check-out seamless. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and are already planning our next trip back.
