This is not easy to find - tucked away in the hamlet above Canfin. (Drive past Candin for 1km and there’s a sign on the left).
The hotel has beautiful outdoor seating under a thatch and lovely walks around. But what makes it so special is the quality of the cooking - they do an evening meal for guests, with full use of local products, especially the chestnuts and figs. We had spiced figs in our main dish of perfectly long-cooked beef, and home-made marrons glacé on our delicious lemon pannacotta-type pudding. Thoroughly recommended.

"We had a 1 night stay travelling through Spain. The hotel kindly found a safe place for the road bikes we had with us which was much appreciated. Parking was nearby and reasonably priced, breakfast was good, the room clean. We would come again if passing through the area."
