The location of this property was perfect, but the house needs considerable improvement. The wood floors were a mess, the dining room carpet was filthy, the back screen door was hanging off its hinges, and it needs an overall paint job. Some of the furniture was dirty or stained. There were huge air-conditioning units that took up considerable space in the rooms. There was no instruction manual of how to get Wi-Fi connection, local information or how to work the fireplace, TV, thermostat, etc. The yard in the photos is lush and green, but in fact it is filled with dead grass and dirt patches. The kitchen was usable and clearly has been updated, however there is no garbage disposal, icemaker or dishwasher. With refurbishing, this could be a nice house. The sunset views from the dining room were lovely.

This little bungalow could be so cute with just a little love, especially paint, refinishing the hardwood floors, fixing the screen door, and trimming back the ivy that's creeping over the driveway, the house is very tired looking. Upon arrival after 4pm, despite a note from the owner that we could check in any time after 10 am, we found the beds had not been made and the dirty linens were piled up in a hamper next to the washer and dryer, there was hair in the bathroom sink, and trashcan liners throughout the house had been draped over the bins but not placed in them. We contacted the host and learned there had been a family emergency with the housekeeping crew and they would arrive to clean the property at 8pm - not super welcoming when wanting to relax after a full day of travel. We were told we would be refunded our first night's rent but did not receive that refund. There were bizarre looking machines in three of the rooms (turns out they're AC units), a fireplace with no way to turn it on, and no heat (the thermostat doesn't appear to work). When we finally figured out how to operate the AC units we tripped breakers when turning on anything else, like the TV. This property does not come with a welcome guide with instructions on how to operate items, such as the AC, check out instructions, and other property information. We would not stay at this property again.
