The neighborhood itself (in West Seattle) was great with several shops and eateries within walking distance. The bus stop was just a few blocks away. We rented a car but took some combination of bus/water taxi to get to downtown Seattle. We took two day trips while there—one to Mount Rainier and another to Whidbey Island. Overall a great trip, and this was a great home away from home for the week. FYI—the parking is on the street. There is no dedicated parking spot. We had ZERO issues finding a spot close to the townhome. Also, there is no central AC, but the weather was perfect for us in early October and the temperature felt great just by cracking open a window or two. There are cooling units in the home for warmer months, but we didn’t need to use them. ##### Helen B.
