We look forward to welcoming you to Seattle! Additional Comments: This home has a private entrance, but is attached to the Subud community center Chapel and meeting hall. Subud has small group meetings on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am -12:30pm, Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm (downstairs hall - no access to the shared bathroom) and on Saturday and Sunday mornings 9:30am -1:30pm. Please be aware that the only shared space during the Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday morning services is the main floor bathroom. While the house was not super updated, it had plenty of room. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, especially being able to make coffee after a late arrival on our first night. There was plenty of space for our family to be together and we managed the shared bathroom without any issues. The house was chilly, but we did not have access to the thermostat. We were in Seattle for a few days on our way to a family wedding in Leavenworth, Washington. I was looking for a place that could accommodate our family of six, including four teenagers who are particular about their sleeping arrangements. We found the right place! Everyone had a super comfortable bed that met their expectations (whew!). Very safe and friendly neighborhood. We were also conveniently located near some great coffee and pizza spots right down the streets. Note that parking on the street can be tricky. Just allow for extra time. The house was clean and all appliances worked. The beds were comfortable, and the living room was a pleasant place for my group to socialize . However, there were two issues that would cause me to reconsider staying here again, the first is probably beyond the control of the owner and that issue is parking. It was often difficult to find a parking place as the neighborhood is close to downtown and there were lots of vehicles. The second issue and the one that would probably cause me not to stay here again is the fact that the controls for the heater were locked and unaccessible. I find that unacceptable because if I’m staying in a “home“ I should have access to those controls. This is part of a community center, and if that was made known to me before hand, I don’t recall it. However we never had any issue with people using the community center attached to the house . ##### JEFF R. Nice park across the street and central to our needs including coffee shops.
