Building is in a perfect location and is well kept. Several amenities available to guests. The unit inside was not as great. It is in serious need of an update. Furniture, bedding, plumbing and air conditioning are all in need of repair/replacement.
We had four adults stay here last week and it was perfect! The area was very walkable and we felt safe walking everywhere. There were so many restaurants to choose from we struggled deciding where to eat. The courtyard, pool, and hot tub were wonderful! The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a lovely vacation. The air conditioning unit in the living room needs to be properly vented out the window and seating on the balconies would be nice (there was one chair on the downstairs bedroom balcony). Those two things will not prevent us from staying there again! I highly recommend staying at this VRBO!!
Beautiful views of the the city and the ocean. Clean and comfy home. It worked out great for our family of 4. The only issue we had was the ceiling fan made a very loud nose and we did not use it because of the nose!
The listing misrepresents the condition of this unit. The photos depict a much newer, updated property than we found. The addition of portable A/C units was never disclosed or pictured. They vent through open windows with large gaps, allowing constant street noise, marijuana smoke, and other odors into the unit. The listing does not prepare guests for the noisy location.Within minutes of arriving, we were searching for another place to stay. Unfortunately, nearby hotels were fully booked because of cruise departures. There were numerous maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns: multiple windows and balcony doors lacked screens; a 7th-floor window presented a fall hazard; another window beside the neighboring veranda would not lock, allowing easy access from the adjacent unit; we found hairs on the king bed sheets with no replacement king sheets available; the blind valance detached and struck me in the head; the sofa had a burned arm and showed significant wear; visible black buildup was present on the return air vent and washing machine gasket; the main bathroom had a persistent urine-like odor that appeared to be masked by a strong fragrance diffuser; and the bathrooms were extremely dated with worn fixtures and sour-smelling shower curtains. The location is excellent and the views are spectacular. However, the condition of the unit did not justify its premium price. The listing needs current photos and accurate disclosures so guests can make an informed booking.
