Just a short stroll away, you’ll find friendly local pubs and tempting eateries, as well as the village’s golden sandy beach and bustling harbour. From here, you can enjoy a memorable boat trip to the Farne Islands, home to an extraordinary seabird sanctuary and a colony of grey seals. Getting Around: The closest train station to Seahouses is Chathill, but it has a very limited train service. The most convenient stations for the East Coast Main Line are Alnmouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed, which offer better connections and more frequent services to locations across the UK including Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Plymouth. A number of bus routes operate in Seahouses offering access to Alnwick, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Morpeth, Newcastle upon Tyne and Wooler.
